Sasha ambled over to the reflection, glimpsing at a collection of brunt photos and a single uniform.

One of the photos showed Z and Slug in the park; on the left was a pale skinny woman.

" This is too strange to pass up; we must call for backup. "

She took out her radio, waiting for a response.

Nothing but static came out of the radio.

Goliath explored around the mansion, noticing a room with bright blue lighting.

His eyes widened as he watched the camera feeds flicker.

Goliath peeked with his gun, ready for the worst.

" Someone was here, fresh new feed. "

When she entered the room, her heart almost stopped due to shock.

" Feed twelve! "

" What the hell? "

Once he said that a loud engine was heard, with a car pulling up the driveway.

" Fuck, we got company; get the evidence. "

They wasted no time, with Goliath taking a week's worth of surveillance footage.

They ran as fast as they could, with Sasha slamming her body against a glass wall, breaking it.

She got up from her fall, noticing that it was another room.

They didn't waste any time, weapons in their hands, entering the dimly lit shed, sweeping each floor thoroughly, both of them aside from each other, protecting their backs.

Suddenly he accidentally bumped into her.

" What is it? " He said as he pointed towards her, feeling a deep dread overcome his very soul.

In front of them was the body of the occultist they interviewed, his skin glued to the chair.

Most of the left side of his face was missing, letting out a horrible smell as hundreds of maggots feasted on his bloody flesh.

The situation at hand terrified them, opening hundreds of theories on why this would happen.

For starters, the killer was going after Fort Echo soldiers, with everyone assuming that the killer was a part of the same cult.

" Why would this person kill so many? We're they trying to clear their tracks? " Sasha said.

They started moving again, faster than before, creating loud footsteps that echoed throughout the hellish room.

They were greeted by a large rusty red door, breaking its lock open with a gunshot, revealing a dark room.

Goliath turned on the lights with a sight that hit them hard, making them gag as a hoard of flies came out.

In front of them was Crowbar, his body covered in acid scars.

Next to him was Vixen, who was missing all her fingers.

Sasha felt a cold shiver, breathing fast, looking around rapidly, passing out.

She looked at her captain behind his desk, still feeling disturbed.

The captain knew that things were getting desperate.

He looked at both of them, ready to continue his speech with most of their attention.

They couldn't accept that they were dead, not in such a horrific fashion.

The captain's office was always organized, but today was far from the norm; literal stacks of papers were everywhere.
