The Autumn's air was crisp and I sweet sent went through out the forest. A fawn Buck named "whitehoof" was just outside of his hands borders.
Whitehoof left his head looking over the opened meadow just beyond. The little fawn saw a older deer a Grey-ish blue, color and with golden armor.
The thing that scared him the most was that the Deer didn't have a head. Instead this red mist stranded the area of where the head once was.
white hood ran back to the main part of his hard and hid under his mother. "Mother! Mother! Guess what I just saw!" said whitehoof bearing his head in his mother pelt.
His mother Moonfir, a light brown-ish red with some darker patches of brown, her right eye was a light green eye and the other blinded with a scar made by a fire long ago when she was only a young doe not quite a fawn anymore. Moonfir looked at her little kin, "and what did you do now my fawn"
her voice quiet and soft. Whitehoof told his short story. Every deer in the hard looked surprised, even scared. Moonfir said to whitehoof that he just saw the great leader "Dullahan" A great warrior form the north mountains, the only one who was breve to fight in the Great War countless years ago. No one remembers was the war was fought, nor whom fought against. The story says that one fateful day, Dullahan was captured, and had his head separated from him. After all these years Dullahan, continues to walk the lands in search for his head that was taken from him. After he passed the war stopped, like it never happened.
"Even today" moonfir continued "he still wanders the forest after all. These years".Some of the other fawns looked at each other to see the other reaction to the tell. One of the fawn a bright red buck named "Redthorn" just grown into his antlers last moonrise said to one of the elders "what would happen if he does find his head?"
The elder with a sliver pelt with blinded eyes answered "if he does find it, its unknown young one. The war that's was once forgotten may start feeding the land once again".꧁༺1.༻꧂
