Hitching a ride (chapter 1)

Reader's POV

I laid on my back with my legs dangling off the end of the truck,My eyes were shut as a soft wieght was on my hip.I opened my eyes seeing stars in the dark sky.frowning I sat up Chucky with fiddleing with kitchen knife we found at the last house we were at,Dam neighbors were noisy and found a body in their backyard so they called the cops.Once Chucky heard the sirens we ran till we jumped on a random truck.

"If you're gonna ask if we're there yet it's a no,"chucky glared at the knife as I picked him and and held him in my lap smiling.

"Awww you know me so well."He sighed as I looked to the emty road,It was early so it makes sense.The truck than suddenly hulted making me grip the egde fearing I'd fall,I heard a door open than a man stood in front of me glaring.Chucky had gone doll mode as I akwardly sat there realizing I'd have to walk the rest of the way.

"The fuck you doing!"He growled grabbing my fore arm tugging me to stand.I glared at him,my pain tollenre had grown so it didnt hurt as much when he grabbed the fresh cuts."I said the fu-"He began till I put chucky in my hoodie hood than shoved the guy onto the truck side.I pulled my hoodie up to reveal my gun holster,I pulled out my pistol.

"Well I was trying to hitch a ride but now I'm killing an asshole,"I growled the last part as I shot between his eyes as he goes limp falling onto the old road leaking blood from his skull.I put my pistol back and clipes it back up walking to the right then getting in putting Chucky on the passenger side."So were we gonna be living now?"I asked as I resting my hands against the steering wheel.

"Just drive and lets try and find a nice place with out shitty neighbors,"Chucky instructed as he looked in the glove compartment hopping to find some music.

"You did dump the body over their fence."I chuckled as I tristed the key starting up the engine,Chucky about how it was my fault.I smiled knowing full well chucky sucked at hiding bodies even with my help.

I thought back to the night Chucky confesed he loved me,It's hard to believe we've been doing this for two years.Our relationship didn't change much besides chuddle more and being more open...besides the fact I stared cutting again.I promised Chucky that I wouldn't ever do it again but from the killing and some encounters with people it was the only way I could cope.

My eyes adjusted to the light polls that started to apear on the side of the road.I parked the truck behind a gas station and got out with chucky in my hood again.I walked to the back and grabbed my bag heading to thw front of the buidling looking around.I crossed to road walking along it as barly any people walking past.I smiled as a hotel came up,I was about to walk in till a bright light caught my eye.

Steping away from the door I see a boy kissing a girl as they run away from the white van.Chucky leaned on my shoulder and told me to ignore it,I was about to but something moving caught my eye.I looking to the buidling they entered and than ran to the van chucky was about to pull my hood till we say a doll in the van with a knife.I steped back in shock like when I met chucky only to find arms around my waist,I grapped my knife from my hoodie pocket and tried to shove it to the strangers throat.

They shoved me to the ground and glared at me holding a knife."you're not a chixky but I'm sure tiff would woke with it."The man ponced at me but chucky got out from underneath me and stabbed the guy in the leg making him fall on me on pain.I punched him and stood up looking up as the door opened.

"Shut up they might hear you!!"The doll yelled than lookes to chucky and I."You,You killed me and made me this way!!"The doll scream ignoring what she told us seconds ago.I grabbed my knife from the dirt covered ground as chucky did the say but from the guys leg.

"Tiffany dam you're a doll like me!"Chucky laughed as I remebered killing her.My first kill feels so weird now,Chucky leaned on my leg as tiff glared daggers at me.The dude who was stabbed was still crying in pain holding his leg."Like my new partner~"Chucky smirked,That seemed to only piss her off.

"I thought that was me not some stupid boy!"tiffany jumped onto the road but frooze as the two love birds came running back with a bag.I grabbed the bleeding out guy and shoved him down the hill grabbing chucky as tiffany jumps in the van I followed hidding so hopfully they dont see me.Chucky sat in my lap staring at the two who were chatting and starting the car.

The bag was discarded in the back where we were,I heldmy breath as the van began tk move.I had already droped my bag when I jumped in so I was stuck with these.Chucky moved slightly so I losened my grip to him to my chest.

"What are you doing!"Chucky whisper yelled as tiffany glaced to tbe front than to chucky.

"To get your stupid amlet!"Tiffany poked chuckys chest and pointed to the teens,"They're taking me there."

Chucky glared and jumped out of my hands as a stop came I held the sides of the seat,Chucky grabbed tiffany neck shoving her to the floor,The two had turned from the bang and I tried to hid my face but the girl screamed.I stood up and put my hands up nevee actually being caught with people around.Chucky and tiffany stopped to look at the two.

"Hello ma'ma..sir..."I was still on my knees with my hands in front of me,I was about to stand but the boy grabbed a screwdriver pointing it at me.

"Step fucking closing and I'll...I'll...''He stopped talking trying to look confidence,I went to reached for my gun only to get a screwdriver to the face.I feel back onto my ass as Chucky yelled at the boy running at him,knife in hand.I held my hand to my forhead as tiffany watched Chucky's reaction to me getting hurt.While I was about to try and stand the car started drived and I fell out the door with tiffany.

I landed on my back as the van drove off.I threw tiff off and yelled for the van to stop,They didnt and I just stood there.

"Chucky..."I softly said as my head still hurt.tiffany stood up next to me glaring that her ride was gone.

"Fuck you!That my perfect ticket out this stupid body!"She screamed as I just rolled my eyes begining to walk foward.I heard rushed steps behind me I was nearly tripped as tiff jumped ontop of me holding a nail to my throat.

"Why do you hate me fucking much!"I sat up ignoring the nail.She glared at me and showed me her middle finger.

"You changed chucky he as supposed to be marrying me not some boy!"She screamed about to jab the nail to my shoulder,I grabbed her hand and push her to the ground.

"He wasn't marrying you so just shut up!"I felt tears no mater how much he says he loves me I still think about him and tiff.

"Yes he was so you killed me!"She screamed yet again jamed the nail into my leg.I kicked her off whiping my eyes grabbing my gun only to be alone on the road.I put the gun back and looked to ring on my middle finger.
