Break the endless curse

Chapter IV

<King's POV>

We all went outside so I could fly up to the Captain's window.

I knew it wasn't right, but we're all worried about our leader.

When I got to the top, I was surprised at first because I didn't see him anywhere.  I concentrated to see something in the room until I saw something moving in the bed.

I noticed that he was only sleeping, so I decided to fly to the others again, but I was stopped by a tired voice.

"King, how long are you going to stare?  You know it's not polite to intrude on people's privacy" Captain looked at me

My heart skipped a beat.

"How did he know I was here?" I thought to myself.

The others probably noticed my startled expression, because they all stared at me in a confused way.

Suddenly, I realized I was ignoring the Captain.

Quickly I turned back to him, and noticed that he had already got up and was looking at me a bit annoyed.

I rarely saw that expression on Meliodas face.  My thought process was interrupted when the demon asked me again

"King, I ask you again, why are you watching me through my window?"  Meliodas asked a little harder this time, which made me nervous.

I immediately said, because I didn't want him to get angrier.

"Ahh- I-It was Ban's idea!  I s-swear!"  I stuttered, that face of the Captain makes me very nervous.

But suddenly from one second to the other he had a smile on his face, which made me feel less nervous.

"Why don't you say that right now, where is Ban right now?" Meliodas asked

I did not know what he wanted to do with the immortal, but I pointed with a slightly trembling hand at Ban, who looked at me even more confused.

Next thing I knew, Meliodas had left his room and was on his way to us.

I was slightly panicky, so I quickly said what I saw.

"He was just sleeping, but he noticed me somehow, and is now on his way to us, or rather to Ban!"

Right after I said that, the door opened and revealed the blond boy.

"Yo!  What are you doing out here?  Apart from watching me!"

Everybody stopped, you could cut the tension with a butter knife.

"Ehm?  Hello, anybody still here?  U look like a deer which is about to be killed."

After another brief uncomfortable silence, Ban cleared his throat.

<Ban's POV>

He caught us, how am I gonna explain this to him?

There was another uncomfortable silence so I decided to finally drop it.

I cleared my throat and looked at the Cap'n.

I decided to start

"Cap'n listen, we just wanted to know what you are doing, you are only in your room and leave right after dinner.
If you have a problem, you can tell us!  You always help us with our problems, too!" I explained it to Shorty as hope that he would open up to us.

Meliodas just stood there after the words and his hair covered his eyes so I can't read his emotions.

After a short time he looked up with a smile and said

"Okay!  Soooo who wants a drink?  I certainly do!  He turned straight around and went to the bar.

"He dodged my words..." I mumbled with a frown

"Yes, he did" Diane replied.

"I wonder what it is, he always avoids things when we mention something with problems..."  I said that so it was still audible to everyone.

"You coming?" we heard Meliodas calling from the bar inside

"Coming Captain!" Diane replied and dragged King in, who blushed a little because Diane grabbed him by the hand.

Elaine flew up to me and indicated to me to come.

We went inside and drank almost all our supplies throughout the night.

"There's gonna be a hangover tomorrow," I thought to myself.

Soo, this is now my 4 part, I hope you like it.  As I said, it is my first fanfiction, I am sorry for the spelling mistakes.
