A/N: AAAA IM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING ANYTHING ON MY ACCOUNT! I GOT ALL UNMOTIVATED AND STOPPED WRITING (also I basically ended up forgetting my books existed)

When Minerva took him back to the Dursley's he realised how much he was going to miss Pivet Drive. It wasn't that he hated the fact he was going to the magical world, in fact, quite the opposite. He just couldn't imagine not coming home to a house with his relatives. It just, didn't sit right with him.

He sat in his room, it was the smallest but Harry felt something drawing him to it. Even when Dudley had offered to share his room instead of Harry staying in the tiny space, he declined. He let Hedwig out of her cage and she fluttered around the room. Just in case she wanted air, he opened the window letting the cool breeze enter.

"Harry! Come downstairs please!" He heard a voice from the living room.

 "Coming!"

Harry stumbled down the stairs, and entered the living room to see that a cake was laid out on the table and all three of his relatives were standing their smiling. The cake was white with cyan decorations, as well as icing. The words, 'Happy Birthday Harry' were written out on the cake with yellow stars surrounding it.

Dudley spoke first, "Happy Birthday! While you were out getting your things for Hogwarts we made you this cake. Since it'll be a while since we'll see you again we wanted to make your birthday a surprise this time instead of immediately celebrating."

Vernon followed, "You've been a great child and I'm sure you'll do well at that magic school of yours. Even if I'm not your father I still think of you as my son."

Petunia was the last to talk, "Harry, you're part of our family and we're happy that you'll finally get to see people of your own kind but we're always behind you if you need us."

This birthday was the best Harry could ask for. It didn't matter that there wasn't a giant party, or a humongous pile of presents, a small celebration with the Dursley's was the best he could have as a present.

They sang Happy Birthday and Harry cut the cake, when Dudley got out a card and present. The card had a small, but heartfelt, message inside. Harry carefully unwrapped the present to find a photo album filled with pictures, as well as space for Harry to put new pictures.

Harry's 11th birthday was one he was sure to never forget.

"Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday to you~ Happy birthday dear Jacob~"

Jacob sat in his chair, twitching with excitement. The cake in front of him was full of decorations and pictures. Around him we're friends and family, all wishing him an amazing birthday but this wasn't what excited Jacob. He already had a bunch of good wishes as his birthday was yesterday, the party was just a celebration with everyone at once.

What he was really excited about was meeting his brother. His parents mentioned him the day before and told him why he didn't live with them. He hoped that his brother would like him and that they could be twins again. Jacob felt a small twinge of anger directed at his parents for abandoning his brother but he was assured it was for the best.

Cutting the cake open Jacob saw the inside to reveal it was a chocolate cake, his favourite. When he got his slice he got even more birthday wishes, it wasn't that he needed anymore anyways. Jacob honestly couldn't care anymore as now they just sounded like the sounds drama broken recording, repeating the same phrase over and over again.
