Logan's POV
(The Way You Look At Me - Christian Bautista)

I'm smiling like an idiot on the way home from the grocery store. I know Brie glances at me some of the time but I ignore her, I'm too happy now. I got Alex's number! Yeay!
I never be this happy just because someone gives me their phone number. Oh gosh, I feel like a silly teenager who gets their crush's phone number. I still remember how it went so well a moment ago.
I pulled away and smiling when I saw Alex was smiling too. Gosh, she looked so beautiful. How could someone be so broken yet so beautiful at the same time? I saw it now, right in front of me.
"Don't do that again, okay?" I said, tucking her stray hair behind her ears.
"I can't stand if someone hurts you." She said and I blushed. Hard.
No one stood by me if I got hurt by someone, but Alex did.
"Try to control your emotion again, promise?" I caressed her cheek.
"Can't do." She stuck out her tongue.
I bit my bottom lip, she was so cute with her messy bun hair, black tank top covered with her leather jacket.
"You're so stubborn." I commented.
"You're more stubborn." She remarked.
I shook my head in amusement. "Well, you said that you need my help to search something on your list?" I changed the subject.
I knew she never went to the grocery store so maybe she didn't know where the thing she needed was placed. Well, I was still here to help.
"Oh, right." She pretended to think. "I think I need your—"
"Logan, come on!" Brie called me.
She was done paying apparently. Shoot, how long did I stay here with Alex? Time flew so fast, huh? And this was the second time Brie interrupted us. Could she just wait for me in the car?
I sighed. "One sec! Wait me in the car!"
Then Brie left, Alex chuckled. "That was the second time we were interrupted by her. And I will make sure that she will not disturb us next time."
"So, there will be a next time?" She asked.
"Of course." I replied confidently. "You don't want to?"
"I do." She said.
"Then why did you ask?" I rolled my eyes, she shrugged playfully. "Okay, what can I do for you to help you find your missing list? I need to go home because maybe Brie is burning the car right now."
She giggled, then she was on this serious mode. "Uh," she paused, itched her neck. "Can I ask your number? I know it sounds ridiculous but don't get me wrong, maybe I can ask you a favor to buy me the tacos you have bought centuries ago."
I couldn't help my laughter. She scratched her neck and laughing with me too. Was this Alex? What happened to her? Where is the bad girl Alex? I saw her eyes when our laughter faded away.
She had this look in her eyes. They seemed so real and so pure and I was happy that her smile was so genuine. I hope it lasted forever.
I extended my hand, she gave me her phone. I typed my number and gave a name on her phone then texted something to my number so I could have her number too. I gave her phone back.
