Chapter 1

Zenitsu's POV

I was staying inside an abandoned house, I was sleeping and got up.
I looked at the dirty, broken ceiling.
"Maybe I should go get more food.."
I was alone, Some idiotic scientist made the zombie apocalypse happen,
By purpose. I couldn't fight zombies, I was Naive, Scaredy cat, And weak.
But I was lucky enough to escape them somehow.
I got up and grabbed a knife, I looked outside the broken window and there weren't any zombies. I ran outside and ran to the road.

The road had a store beside, It was empty and wrecked. I got in and looked in the cashier register. I broke it and it wasn't much money,
"Somebody or maybe a group can let me in.. I'll give them money."
In fact, I don't know if there are any survivors. This virus had infected millions of people.
I checked the shelves and they were all empty. I saw a big box on top of the shelves.
I wasn't tall enough to get it and I noticed a chair at the cashier register.
I grabbed it and stood on it.

Still took me a long time to get it though. I managed to grab it and placed it on the ground. I got on my knees and opened the box. There was a lot of food and water bottles.
"Jackpot! This could live me a month."
I smiled brightly and grabbed the box and left the store with my knife on the box. Outside was oddly quiet,
"Hm.. Why is it so-"

"RAARGH!"

"Gah!" I fell on my stomach and the box was far away, So is my knife.
I turned around and it was a zombie.
The zombie tackled me and I couldn't get my knife. 'What the?! I didn't hear anything behind me! Is this how I'm gonna die?!' I struggled to push away the zombie, "Argh! Get off me! Help!"
I yelled and the zombie kept making noise and I was afraid more zombies was gonna come.
The zombie was so close to biting me.
If he bites me I'm gonna turn to a zombie and I don't want that.

I heard a gunshot, The zombie fell on me. "Eek!" I pushed it away. There was a guy who looked younger than me. He has a mask on his head. He had red burgundy hair and red eyes.
He pointed the gun at me in anger.
"You're not bitten, are you...?"
A shiver went down my spine.
"N-No!" The guy didn't say anything and put the gun away.
"Well then, I'm sorry! Are you okay?"
I paused for a second and nodded.
"That's a lot of food you got there, Wanna join our group?" 'There were other people..?!'

"I uh... S-Sure!" He was so beautiful,
'But! I'm into girls. So I won't like him.' The boy smiled and said,
"I'm Tanjirou! What about you?"
He pulled me up.
"Z-Zenitsu..." He helped me pick up the food. "Zenitsu? That's a good name." He made me smile, He's so nice. "Thank you!" We walked for 20 minutes and he brought me to a school. "Here is our base," He looked relieved.
"There's a lot of people here, So let's meet them!" He pulled my arm and we went inside the school, We walked upstairs and got to a classroom.

"I'm back!" Everybody looked at me surprised. "There's someone still alive?!" A boy with a fire cape and long spiky hair.
I was feeling uncomfortable, There were loads of people.
"Introduce yourselves!" A guy with a spiky ponytail and blue eyes yelled.
