Fond Memory

"Um...h-hello."she squeaked out. I grinned. The shy type huh? I can work with that."Hey there" I chirped,clearly delighted that she had noticed me so fast."Do you remember me?" I asked. She seemed to take in my face before answering."Sir Ire's son right? M-Meliodas? We met when we were...ten, right? I smiled warmly, happy she remembered me."Yup, that's me." She smiled back."Hey,uh, can you play again?" I asked hoping to hear more of that beautiful melody."If you'd like that." She said with a flushed face."I sure would." Having stepped closer to her the entire time with slight disapproval of the mutt. I was now in front of her.

She turned around and scooted over. I sat down next to her, but before she could start playing, the entire house shook so violently that the pictures fell of the wall. Hawk began barking in distress. Then suddenly it stopped. I looked over at Elizabeth who looked just as panicked I must have."What was that?" I asked quietly." I-I don't know." She answered just as quiet."It has happened before but both my father and his right-Hand man are clueless of what could cause this." I whipped my head back around."This is normal ?!"
"Of course not! We're in London! When was the last time there was an earthquake here?" I suppose she was right there."It also appears to only affect the area around our house." Oh yeah, of course! That's why I didn't know about this.

If it had been an earthquake then the city would have been affected."Should we head downstairs?""yeah" She agreed. We got up and I walked towards the door when I noticed she wasn't following and turned around. She was hanging up the fallen paintings, I decide I should help her. Once we were done we walked downstairs, Hawk always by Elizabeth's side. All personal and our fathers were in the entrance hall talking about the "earthquake"."Father?" I heard that soft voice say directly behind me."Ah Elizabeth! Meliodas! Are you alright?" He asked clearly very worried."We are." I answered.

"How about everyone else?" I asked"We're alright son." My father answered"Hendrickson have you found anything on these quakes?" Baltra asked turned to my father"Do you still want to go to that pub?""As if a little shake could stop me.

" My father laughed. Why the hell would you want to go to a pub? Now of all times.But who am I to judge."Meliodas, why don't you go home?" My father said, rather more demanded."Yes, of course." I just agreed simply because I decided not to argue, even though I'd like to spend more
time with this blue-eyed goddess.
I turned to her."Well then, goodbye Elizabeth, I hope we can see each other again?" I looked at her with hopeful eyes.
" I'd love to." She smiled. I looked at our fathers for permission. They exchanged looks until Baltra spoke up."I don't see why not son, but no funny things." He warned.
"Of course not, Sir."He smiled and so did I."Well, when you want to come around just give us a call.""Will do, Sir."My smile only grew. As soon as I,my father and Baltra left we parted ways.

On my way home, it started raining. Oh wonderful. It must be afternoon now. I stopped and thought about that "earthquake". That could be dangerous, an Elizabeth said it wasn't the first time it had happened. What the fuck causes something like that?? I started walking again and before I knew it I was in front of my house. I entered and murmured a quick "I'm back". I walked into our living room to see my younger brother sitting on a seat reading one of our many books.

He turned around "Oh, so you survived." He mocked"Where's father?" He continued "He went to a pub with sir liones." He hummed in acknowledgement."Hey Zeldris ?""Yeah?""When was the last time there was an earthquake in London?" I asked out of the blue."What the hell kind of question is that?" Zeldris asked raising an eyebrow."Just answer the question.""Uh...15 something." He answered still confused."Alright." I answered, and left up to my room.
