Piper POV

I get an iris message from Nico the night after Coulson does the Polygraph test. Seriously, it's probably three am. Perfect time for Demon Kid, I guess. "Piper?"

"Nico?"

"I heard you guys got kidnapped," he says.

"Well hello to you too, ghost boy." I smirk.

"Who kidnapped you?" Nico asks. "And ghost boy? Really?"

I shrug. "It fits! And also some guys called SHIELD."

Nico groans.

"We'll be fine, we'll get out in a couple days," I say, lacing my words with charm speak. I heard that Chiron sent Dionysus as a lawyer and I don't want a similar incident.

"Don't try to charmspeak me, Piper. We have a serious problem over here. Do you know how much they know?" he asks.

"No clue, we're all isolated." I explain. I glance at the camera in the corner of my cell. "Is there a way to include the others on the call?"

Nico says to hold on a second, and then comes back with Will and Reyna. "We're all going to call the others, hopefully it'll work." Nico explains.

In a few moments, I can see Percy and Annabeth across the circle from me, Annabeth on the right side. On Annabeths right I can just barely make out Frank, and on Percy's left I catch a glimpse of Leo. I can only assume Hazel and Jason are here too, because Nico asks, "Alright, who told the kidnappers where the camps are?"

Frank groans. "I told them the camps existed. I didn't think they'd figure it out."

"They didn't," Annabeth says calmly, which we all know means if someone makes a movie out of this she will scream it. "I told them the locations."

Everyone protests, but Annabeth just explains, "Percy was screaming and it was the only way to get to him."

We all fall silent.

"Well, now Reyna's trying to negotiate with SHIELD. They've come to Camp Jupiter, and we just got an iris message from Chiron saying Half Blood has the same problem. They want to make sure we're not 'creating an army.'"

"But we are creating an army." Leo says.

Will sighs. "Yes Leo, that's the problem."

"They have guns on board that could wipe out New Rome." Nico says bluntly.

"There are civilians! Kids!" Jason protests.

"We know. We brought that up. He said they just want to talk." Will says.

"Like you bring guns to a peaceful talk." Nico growls.

"Evacuate the-"

"We can't, there's a border." Will says. He sighs. "Look. You need to do something from the inside. Convince them to leave us alone."

"Charmspeak doesn't work on them." Frank says.

"No, it does. They just always have me on soundproof and they read the subtitles on the side of the cell." I sigh. "We'll try our best."

"Thanks guys."

"Wait-" the connection breaks off. I need to talk to my friends, I need to talk to Jason.

But emptiness stands before me, silence blanketing the room.

(A/N I literally layed on the floor looking through a hole cut in an index card to see which other standing index cards I could see so i could figure out who Piper could see. What can I say (great now Moana's stick in my head), writing's a process.

ANYWAY sorry for the wait. A mixture of personal stuff and forgetting, the former causing the latter a bit...
