We were lined up backstage for our interviews. I was the sibling, so I was being interviewed first. My twin, Ombre, was shivering with nerves. I, for one, was excited. I was going to show the world that I was confident and ready to win.

The problem was, if I won, I would be going home without Ombre. She and I are always together. I probably would've been executed by now, for doing something stupid if she hadn't been there to talk me out of it.

"Next, from District 3, the lovely Thalia Foughtworth!" Axel Stormbough, the Games announcer exclaimed. I proudly marched out onto the stage and took my seat next to him. "So, Thalia, how are you feeling?"

"I'm pretty confident. I'm a little sad though, because my twin and I are here together. Only one of us can win right?" I said, "But hey, if I have to be forced into this, I'm going to fight for my life."

"What do you think about this year's Quell?" Axel asked.

"It's an interesting twist," I replied, "it's a bit sad, 'cause of all the families. But I don't care about the extra tributes, it's just extra fun! Also, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the quell, because it was my sister that was reaped. So I'm hyped up, and I'm gonna destroy the arena!"

"Great..." said Axel, sounding a bit uncertain, "just one more question, then our times up! Do you plan to have any allies in the game?" he asked.

"Yes! My sister and I will ally, maybe our friend too. She was the other sibling from our district. We have always worked together in things kinda like how different body parts help each other keep the body moving," I explained. "Except Ombre usually does all the work. She's the nerd, I'm the warrior!"

"So, she's like your brain?" he asked.

"Yes! And I'm like her fist!" I replied.

"Well, everyone! That's our time!" Axel finished, "I give you, Thalia!" There was a roar of applause. I took a bow and strutted off the stage.

As I made my way off the stage, I gave my sister a friendly slap for good luck. She just looked at me, with that expression that said she thought I was being very inappropriate. She does that a lot, apparently I'm an embarrassment.
