Julia:
Today is the day. I'm going wedding dress shopping with my mom and my best friends, who also happen to be my bridesmaids.
"Okay we brought you some Starbucks breakfast before we head to the shop! Are you excited?" Renee asks me as she walks in the apartment alongside Jazzy.
"My Schuyler Sisters!" I rush to them and give them the biggest hugs. After taking a break from Hamilton, the original cast hasn't seen each other in the longest time. So, these days we've been reuniting, and it feels incredible to be together again.
"I've missed you two! Come in!" I say with a smile on my face. Renee sets down the Starbucks bags and we unpack the drinks and food, diving right in.
I call down Lin from upstairs so he could join us for a quick breakfast. "Morning!" He kisses my forehead and greets Jazzy and Renee with hugs.
"We need to have a full reunion with the cast! Yesterday all of the boys were here and now all of the girls are here." He comments and I chuckle, "That's true! We need to plan something out before the engagement party."
After a quick breakfast, I say goodbye to Lin and me and my girls head out to shop for the wedding dress. I already had what I wanted in mind, so hopefully it wasn't going to be a long complicated process. Boy, was I wrong. It took me like fifty four changes to find the perfect dress.
Thankfully, I had the greatest women by my side to give me their opinion. My mom planned to meet us at the shop, and she arrived just in time. She sat next to Renee and Jasmine as I showed them all the options.
"Okay too flat, right?" I asked, referring to dress #1.
They all nodded in unison. I rolled my eyes jokingly and went back to change.
"Too shiny." I say, coming out of the curtains.
"Yep." They agree.
"This is gonna be harder than I thought!" I laugh. After at least twenty seven tries, we're finally getting somewhere.
"You see, this one I like. We can adjust the sides but I actually like it." I come out and they all gasp.
"That one looks beautiful on you!" My mom says.
"I agree! You look like a princess." Jasmine and Renee say.
I bring my hand up to my chest, "You girls are too sweet." I smile. "I'll consider it, but it doesn't feel 100% right, you know?" I comment as I glance in the mirror.
As I'm changing for the next dress, the retail lady brings me another one. "Hey, I feel like this is the perfect dress you've been looking for!"
I'm a bit shocked at her statement, so I quickly grab it from the curtains and thank her politely. I decide to try this one on now since apparently it's "the perfect" dress.
"Guys, this is the one!" I say as I come out of the curtains when I put it on.
"Wow!" Renee and Jazzy both gasp, speechless, whilst my mom's eyes proceed to water.
I chuckle, taken aback at the fact that this dress is everything I'm looking for. "This is perfect! It has the lace, the perfect amount of detail, and it feels the best." I keep admiring it in the mirror. We all knew that this dress was speaking to me and it'd just be wrong to get another one that wasn't this one.
"Are you saying yes to the dress?" My mom asks. I feel some tears in the back of my eyes as I nod. "Yes!"
Later that night, I come home to my apartment and see Lin is playing with Tobi on the couch. As soon as his eyes notice my smile, he starts grinning as well.
"So?!" He asked with excitement in his voice.
"I found my wedding dress." I couldn't hold back my smile.
"Come here!" He gave me the biggest hug I think ever. "Oh, I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle." He leaned in to seal my lips with a kiss. What a magical dream I'm living.
A/N: Thank you for all of the support! What about Jazzy and Anthony? Will they get engaged soon, too?
