Lux was feeling invincible.
Well, as if she didn't have enough reasons for that.
Her current quidditch team had just beaten Hufflepuff's in a match of almost five hours long for the year's cup, and as the good chaser she was, the responsibility of being a very much dedicated player never tasted so good.
She scored 90 points of the 170 end that led Gryffindor to the final win of the season, even with the other team's seeker catching the snitch. So, as she flew down the field on her broom, feeling her now untied pink and purple bangs flying over her forehead, she couldn't help herself but receiving the congratulations from all her teammates for the great game.
She really couldn't be feeling better.
While they were leaving the field and moved towards to the locker rooms, Lux wondered how their celebration party would be. She deeply wished she still had her hidden firewhiskey in case her friends fail to smuggle some more until night, but the thought vanished from her mind when Jenna and Luke just appeared in front of her to congratulate her for the game.
— YOU. WERE. BLOODY INSANE over there, baby! - Jenna yelled to her with little jumps, while Luke embraced her in a hug, very much enthusiastic.
— HELL YES! I bet my pants Olivia Brown is going to nominee you for Captain next year! - He said, after spin with her in his arms - as usual.
— Thank you, mates! - she answered, leaving his hug to receive hers - And I think you're right Luke, she kind of left the ideia in the air before this game when we were in the locker room - she smiled to them.
— You deserve it and more, darling! - He joyfully said.
— Thank you both - she bent down to pick up her broom now drop on the floor. - So, are you guys coming to our celebration party? You know, as it's the last game of the year, the winner house host all other members to feast - she added as they followed her to her final destination.
— We wouldn't miss it for anything - Jenna replied without even guessing. Of course she wouldn't deny a party, even more an opened one.
— Count on us, baby - Luke agreed.
Lux smiled to them as they got to where they must separate.
— I'll be happier with you there.
She was about to say goodbye when Jenna talked.
— Lux, you wouldn't mind if I take a friend with me, right? - she kindly asked. Lux raised an eyebrow to her.
— A friend, yeah?
— No! Yeah, I mean, a house fellow, not a crush or anything - she explained. - Woertman has been kinda lonely those last weeks, so I thought it'd be good for her, you know, get to see people again.
The chaser recognized the name, but was not sure of the face of who Jenna was talking about. Anyway, she just agreed.
— Don't mind Jen, you can take anyone you want. And you too, Luke. - she affirmed.
— Believe me dear, I know - he smiled to her, making her roll her eyes.
— Alright guys, I gotta go. Thank you for coming!
— Not for that, sweetie. - said Jenna.
— See you later! - Luke added.
Lux smiled while waved to them. Both Jenna and Luke were from Slytherin, but since the moment she had classes with them in their first year, they became friends. She - or they - never believed in such stupid brawls between the houses; on the contrary: as long as they could stand together, stronger they would be.
