"Yes, I'm in!" MJ whispered into her microphone."Great, now you gotta look for a minivan with the numberplate." Betty asked Flash who was sitting in front of his laptop to convey the information, "Flash, forward it to her fast."
"I...am...on...it" Flash used his IT skills. He's always been good at it, just never found a good use of it. Same with Betty, she was great at instructing and managing a group of people.
And as for MJ, it is known, that she's a great spy, sneaking her way in to any crevice and kicking ass people's ass.
But, she wasn't going to do this alone tonight. Her partner was to accompany her, as the number of people they will be fighting tonight was not going to be just one or two, as predicted by Ned and Flash.
Two groups were to make a shady deal involving trading of drugs. Few 'elite members' of each group were making the actual deal in the van, while their men were scattered all over in the parking lot, without being suspicious. Breaching in was almost an impossible task, if not for group effort.
MJ had already found the van. She was prepared to attack, if only her partner showed up.
"Ned, where's Spidey?" MJ spoke impatiently. Which was justified, considering their meeting will be over soon and both the groups will escape.
"I am contacting him." Ned manages the contacts with Peter or morelike Spider-Man. Spidey, being the friendly neighborhood guy, has a lot on his plate on everyday basis. So, it only makes sense that he has his guy in the chair managing his schedules and reminding him of his missions.
"Spidey, Mission #13, report quickly. Mission currently on hold."
"Ned, stop panicking! Almost there. The last mission took a turn, I had to deliver the kid to his house." Peter spoke, already half exhausted from his last fight, and all the swinging.
"Okay, guys, MJ he'll be there soon, no need to panic." Ned took a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, we can hear him, Ned." The others said, as a matter of fact that there radio transmittors were connected.
"And babe, you're the one who is panicking. Calm down, everything's going as planned." Betty said in her comforting voice.
"Yeah, babe." He smiled at her with heart eyes.
"Guys, focus! Please." Flash spoke. "It feels awkward when you two start doing that heart eye thing during missions." He rolled his eyes.
"Okay, MJ, I am at the building and going in." Peter spoke, walking into the parking lot casually, as if there wasn't twenty something men guarding a classified, bulk drug deal.
"Peter, wait don't--" MJ tried to warn him to be sneaky but--
"Hey, guys" Peter's voice echoed in the lot. MJ sighed and took a glimpse from her hiding space at Spider-Man waving at the men. She slipped on her own mask, readied her weapons, and waited for it to go down.
"Aww, nobody told me there's a party tonight. Come on, guys, why didn't you invite me?" Peter joked. The men did not attack him or showed their weapons. This meant they can't fight yet, or the cctv footage would conclude them as havoc creators, and declare it as an act of offense instead of defence.
"Go away, Spidey. Nothin' here has anything to do with you." One of the guys near the van told him.
"Well, it's very rude to just ask the guest to go away, don't you think? I mean, it's okay you didn't invite me, but since I am here, you can atleast welcome me properly, don't you think?" Peter chuckled in attempt to get on their nerves.
