Chapter2

Once we get back home I look at the house. Nothing much has changed apart from the new flowers Nan put in, the green grass is still there and the mail box I love because I made it in grade 7. When I get out my Pop walks to me and hugs me “I missed you so much” he says and I hug him and didn’t say anything. Stiles takes me inside and shows me my room. It was all set up. I had my bed and my books all stacked in a shelf and my walls were light blue how I wanted them to be “I told nan how you wanted it. I was hoping you would have woke up earlier so I could show you sooner” he said sadly “Hey, I’m here now and I love it thankyou” I said and hugged him. After me having a shower I got into the living room to find all three of them sitting down “Mia, come sit” She says I quietly and slowly sat down with my lips lined together, my heart is pounding and my hands are shaking “Mia, Stiles already knows but you’re parents are not you actual parents” Nan says “What?” I ask in disbelief “Yes, and the reason you’re parents have to leave was actually because they ran away before they could get in trouble because they thought you would be disabled or something and they didn’t want that so they ran away and we had no choice but to take you” she says trying not to cry “Oh” I said, I was hurt and I needed to be alone.

I walked outside “Mia!” My nana shouts but I ignore her and I end up walking to my spot, my spot just for myself. I put my hoodie on and my hands in my pockets and walked up the hill across from my nans home then I went to the tree and climbed up so I could just relax. I get up and sat down and took a breath, “Stupid parents” I say to myself, I admit I was really hurt but angry, I then heard a crunch underneath me and I looked down whipping the tears away. It was a guy, brown straight hair and blue eyes “Hi…” he says rubbing the back of his head “What are you doing?” I snap “Whoa chillax. This is where I come to think, and you’re in my spot” he says folding his arms “Oh really, well this is my spot. I came here when I was younger as well, I have my engraves on this tree” I say folding mine “Well, my dad planted this tree” he says with a smirk “Did not” I say “Did to” “did not” “Did to” “Prove it” I say “Fine, up there should be letters saying J.T” he says I look around “Yep, so what. You could have done it” I say still not believing “J.T means James Tomlinson. My dad. He died when I was about 11. It was in a letter he told me pulling a letter out and he said “Louis, I planted a tree when I was 8. I want you to check if it’s still there, it’s at Mountain Heights. Should say J.T up there somewhere” he says reading the letter, I was shocked. I stared at him then shrugged and hoped down and left “Wait where are you going?” he asked “I don’t know, somewhere” I say “Can we hang out?” he asks and I sigh “fine” and he runs up to me “Names Louis Tomlinson, in 23” he say “Mia Bridge. I’m ugh” I said I was 17 two years ago so I’m 19? “I’m 19” I say “Took a while to answer” he said and nudged me “Well I wasn’t in this world for two years” I said “What?” he asks confused “Well I was in a coma after a car crash, I woke up two years later which was about three days ago” I say and he looked at me “I’m so sorry” he says with a low tone “Meh don’t be” I said happily jumping up a bit “So what are you doing right now” he says looking up at the stars “I don’t know I don’t want to go home” I say shrugging “What about we set this world on fire?” He asks looking down from the stars to me “What?”  I ask, is he for real? “Yeah, we could so crazy stuff like sleep out here tonight and go get Starbucks and give them weird names like turtle and octopus then we will go to a movie and throw a fart bomb in there and run out” he says smirking from the idea he just thought of “Hmm I don’t know, I only just met you how do I know you won’t try to do anything?” I say crossing my arms, its getting chilli “Well maybe some risks are just need to be taken” He says smiling at me “C’mon” I say smiling “So it’s a yes?” He asks “yeah, it’s a yes”.
