Letting Danger In

Jacob's POV:

Halos pauwi na ang mga staff ko sa opisina ng makabalik ako.

Lisa: "Sir, babalik ka pa pala, gusto ninyo po bang mag stay muna ako? Meron pa po ba kayong gustong tapusin tonight?"

Jacob: "No Lisa, I'm okay, go home. I just have some things I want to read, thank you for today, see you guys tomorrow."

Pagkatapos ay pumasok na ako sa personal kong opisina.

Ibinaba ko ang dala dala kong briefcase sa may couch at dumeretso ako sa table ko.

I opened my desk drawer and took Dani's photo out. I just stared at it for a little.

Jacob: "Dani, what a shame, I actually kind of like you. I could relate to you and the things you've been through, nobody deserves that kind of pain. How I wish I could spare you, sa lahat ng puwede mong mahalin, yun pang tao na magdadala mismo sa iyo sa kapahamakan ang pinili mo. As for you Doctor Luv Pangilinan, enjoy everything now while you still have them, cause one by one, I am going to take it all away. I already have the key, Your now greatest weakness, Mary Danielle Entrata."

I placed the photo back in my drawer, and took the book I got from my dad- inside was his last letter to me, before he died, before he killed himself, If I may say. My selfless father. The most selfless man I know-

Jacob: "I'm sorry dad, I wasn't there. But I am here now, and I'll make everyone pay for what they did."

I stood up and walked towards the bookshelf where I kept a notebook with newspaper clippings inside.

Maaga akong natapos sa meeting ko today, kaya naisipan kong surpresahin si Luv sa work, I brought food para sabay kaming mag lunch, though medyo late na for it, hindi parin kasi ako kumakain, and knowing Luv, he can always eat.

Pag dating ko dun sinalubong naman ako ni Batchi.

Batchi: "Ma'am Dani!"

Dani: "Hi!Busy ba si Luv?"

Batchi:" Is he expecting you? Hindi naman masyadong busy pero meron pa siyang pasyente sa loob."

Dani: "Ay hindi, I susurpresa ko sana siya kasi maaga natapos yung commitment ko today."

Batchi: "Ay good timing ka Ma'am kasi last patient na ni Doc yun for today, susundo daw kasi siya dapat saiyo."

Biglang lumabas si Crisha.

Crisha: "Batchi, ilan pa- Oh hi Dani, kamusta?"

Dani: "I'm good, ikaw?"

Crisha: "I'm also good, uhm Batchi ilan pa yung scheduled ko for today?"
