Chapter 8

-----------time skip ---------- weeks after-----------

Tonight, they're having a dinner with Jeidee's mom and step dad. It's already 4 o'clock and Tiarah took a shower while waiting for her bestfriend to come home. She even put her makeup on and got dressed, she's waiting patiently for her bestfriend and when she's about to call her the door suddenly opened and it was Jeidee.

Jeidee : I'm sorry Tee. I'm late..

Tiarah : It's okay.. go on and take a shower now. We're going to be late.

Jeidee : Yes.. Yes. I'll just take a quick shower. (she said as she enter her room)

Tiarah : Okay!

Tiarah started the car engine as she saw Jeidee coming out.

Jeidee : I'm done! Let's go?

Tiarah : Okay, let's go.

Jeidee : I hope we can make it on time.

Tiarah : Don't worry, you have me Dee. Fasten your seatbelt. This would be fun!

Jeidee : Okay, I trust you!

Tiarah : Here we go!! (she said as she stepped on the gas paddle)

Apparently they arrived at the restaurant on time, Jeidee thanked her for driving. As they enter the restaurant they saw Jeidee's mom and step dad who waved at them.

Jeidee : Happy birthday Mom and also Happy anniversary to you guys!

Tiarah : Happy birthday auntie! Happy anniversary too!

Jeidee's Mom and Step Dad : Thank you girls!

Jeidee's Mom : So, what do you guys want to order? (she asked the girls)

Jeidee's Step Dad : Order anything, don't be shy.

Tiarah : Hmm.. what should I order? What about you Dee?

Jeidee : I don't know either hahaha all the food looks delicious.

Tiarah : I know right hahaha that's why I can't decide. Hmm.. Ohh! I want this one.

Jeidee : Hmm.. Okay, I'll get that too hehe!

As their food was served they started to eat as Jeidee says the food was truly delicious and they enjoying the band that perfoming in the stage.

Tiarah : Look Dee, there's a band performing over there.

Jeidee : Yeahh. I remembered ourselves performing on the stage back then.

Tiarah : I missed performing, but now I don't know if I can do that anymore.

Jeidee : Me too...

When Jeidee's Mom heard their conversation, she requested for them to sing for her as a birthday gift. Tiarah immediately said yes because she was excited as she looked at her bestfriend. Jeidee sang first and a lot of people applauded and after she sang , it's Tiarah's turn, she confidently came up to the stage and requested to play this song "Beautiful" by Crush. She sang it really well as the people did to Jeidee they also gave her applause, she felt very happy because she got the chance to sing again infront of many people. When she came down to the stage and returned to their table. The girls have fun in chatting with the parents that they didn't even noticed the time when they about to go home, Tiarah's phone started to ring notifying that she had a call and she excused herself to them after that she went out to the resto to take the call.

Tiarah : Oh! Hi manager Kim!

Manager Kim : Hello Tiarah! You seemed so happy huh?

Tiarah : A little haha! So, Is there a problem?

Manager Kim : Oh nothing, I will just remind you that you will be paired for the upcoming endorsement, beacuse I will be away for more than a week and I'm counting that you'll be able to manage the regular shoots on your own.

Tiarah : Nothing to worry, I can handle it!

Manager Kim : So, that's all! See you then!

Tiarah : Bye!

As soon as she ended the call, she caught a man staring at her. She looked at him straight and she was shocked at the same time and felt nervous.
