Miracle's POV:
"M-mother...?"
I could not believe my eyes. My mother died 4 years ago... I still don't know how. Only person that know is my best friend, Sapphire's mother. Yet, she still never told me.
My mother had a mental disease, which made her do things she shouldn't have. Of course, I knew about the disease and I still love her, even after everything. But, the things she said still hurt me. My mother has been through a lot. When me and my twin sister, Fantasy, was born my father died about a year or two later. My mother remarried a man, Victor, about 5 years later. Me and my older brother, Justice, weren't too happy about it, unlike my sister. Soon my baby sister, Nala, was born. I didn't care too much. But, I didn't know she would be the light of my life.
And here I am, standing face-to-face with my mother, in Hell.
"M-Miracle...?" My mother said in shock. "Why are you in Hell? What're you doing in the princess's room?" I could tell Mother had a lot of questions.
"I, uh... I am the princess...."
My mothers beautiful violet eyes widened. But, then, she started chuckling. "whats so funny?" i ask
"You seemed like the kind of person who would marry the Devil!"
I give her a small smile. My mother ran up to me and hugged me. "I missed you so much," She whispered in my ear. My mother let go of me and grabbed my hand. She sat me down on my bed, then sat down next to me.
"So..." she hummed. "How were you and John?" She said, curiously.
I stiffened. I held back tears. The tears blurred my vision, but they soon became too much for me to hold in. My mother saw the pearls on tears fall down my cheek and her eyes widened. "Sweetie! what happened?!" she cried.
"Well, let's say John was more like victor than I thought..."
~Flashback~
Marlee (Miracle's mother's) POV:
Back when me and Victor were still married, he'd always drink, which meant he was drunk all the time. I personally never wanted a fourth child. Whether I wanted Nala or not, I loved her dearly. I do not regret having her but it was difficult to basically take care of a teenager, 2 kids, and a baby all by yourself.
Since Victor was an alcoholic, he'd abuse me, but never in front of the kids. Bruises, cuts, and whelps scattered across my body like beans spilling on the floor. But he never did damage to my face. So, I'd cover up the damage with long sleeves, and long pants. Even in the summer, even though I'd sweat until I was dehydrated. Though, Victor was evil, he wasn't stupid.
Due to my disease when my children ask if I was okay I'd get overly angry, some might say it's just anger issues but that wasn't the case. I would do, things close enough to murder.
Yup, murder.
but I never did. Either Miracle stopped me or I'd regain consciousness.
I heard things have been happening to Miracle at her school, but my pride was too large to show pity. My daughter, Fantasy, moved to L.A. with my brother, apparently she won an singing contest. So, the judges singed her up in a studio that was in L.A. so she could become a famous singer. And she did!
Victors drinking problem got worse and I don't know why. But, the worse the drinking, the greater the abuse. So, of course, the abuse did get worse. I got depressed, and it effected my disease. I'd lock myself in my bedroom, never ate or anything. I had a bathroom attachment in my room so I was in luck.
One day I grew hungry so I came out to eat a sandwich. But he came. he asked me what I was doing and I ignored him.
"Don't ignore me, you rat!" he yelled. Victor attempted to throw an emptied alcohol glass at me, and missed miserably, due to his drunken self.
"Come here." Victor said strictly. His words slurred, his voice got deeper and darker. And, boy, did I know, that I was in big trouble.
He wobbled towards me. I stepped back a step or two. Then, he snatched my shirt's collar. "Don't walk away from me!" Victor shouted.
I flinched. He started unbuttoning my shirt and getting closer to me. The closer he got the more uncomfortable I became.
And that's when I blacked out.
