We often think that God has forsaken us when going through adversity but Deuteronomy 31:6 boldly states that the Lord will never leave us nor will he forsake us. In the life of Joseph (Genesis 37-50) we learn about the troubles Joseph faced before becoming one of the most important people in Egypt and we learn that his brothers sold him into slavery. Throughout his ordeal, we witness that God was with him through it all and what his brothers had planned for evil, God used it for his good. In this chapter we learn that even though you might face great adversity, it is all part of Gods plan to fulfil your purpose that he has planned for your life.
Jeremiah 29 (NIV)11 – For I know the plans I have for you ,” declares the Lord , “ plans to prosper you and not to harm you , plans to give you hope and a future.
