"Can I help you ma?" He asked. His voice was scratchy and low and his tone rang out as sarcastic.
"What do you mean by 'Can I help you ma?'" she asked him in incredulity.
"I said what I said. Now what exactly is your problem?" He asked, obviously no...
Oh wow! The journey of The Bridge is finally complete. Somebody wake me up, because this is so surreal. I've got my first completed book, y'all!

I'd have really loved to make mentions, but I have a feeling that I won't be able to include everyone, and I don't want anyone to be excluded.

Well, I wouldn't want to bore you too much with all my mushiness, but I've decided to include the Q and A in this part.
Question 1: What will you be up to next? By _plethora
Well, I've got the next idea that I want to develop. Actually, I've got many ideas lined up, but the one I'm led to post next is the one I'm going to work with. I already know which it is, but I've got to flesh it out and do all my planning first. The when is something I'm not sure of, but I'm still looking at the trend of events. As for my exams, there are still a lot of uncertainties so I don't exactly know how to plan myself yet.
However, I'll be keeping you all updated, and will notify you once I put my next book up.
Update: My exams are currently ongoing. So all writing plans have been halted till further notice. Remember to say a prayer for me, please❤️❤️
Well, I don't have any intentions to write a sequel, for now. I don't have a solid plot for a sequel, so I can't jump into that. But never say never ;)
Question 3: What motivated you to write this story? The storyline and pattern is not a usual one. By fiyinfoluwaa_
Honestly, it wasn't me at all. It was all the work of the Holy Spirit. See me sitting on my bed jejely one day, and then, gbam! This idea comes to me. So I write it down in a book, and bounce off ideas for developing the plot on my family. Baseline, I did nothing spectacular to get the idea for the plot. The Holy Spirit basically just dropped it in my lap. Amazing, I know.
While brainstorming, and talking with my big sister, she gave me the idea of letting it all take place on the bridge. Before, I was just going to make them move to a cafe to talk. She also helped me out with the idea for the title.
As for the pattern, I wanted an epigraph in my story. Then after doing research, I realised that using someone elses quote for an epigraph, meant a lot of work to get permission and all that jazz. So I decided to write my own poem, and it was all well and good. Till I realised that the poem only captured the beginning part. The goal was for him to not kill himself, sooo the idea for more Epigraphs came.
The flashbacks were in the original plan, because I thought it'd be a nice touch. The story was being told by the main character, so the story would definitely be biased. That was why I chose some special parts, that I wanted to show you directly. They were even supposed to be at the beginning of each chapter, but they ended up being too long, so I decided to leave each as separate chapters.
That's the story behind the pattern. Hope this answers your questions xoxo.
If you still have more questions, let's hear it ;)
Thank you once again for reading. Last but not at all the least, thank you God for helping me complete this. Thank you for inspiring me, and giving me strength and determination. I love you Abba♥♥
