I walked out of the house and looked around for Brandon's car. Is he really late again, I thought to myself. I got my phone out and texted him.
Me: hey where r u
Brandon: Ashley called me last minute and said she needed a ride sorry :/
Me: this is the third time u know
Brandon: srry i'll find away to make it up to u
I shoved my phone in my backpack and breathed out a heavy sigh. It just makes me so upset when we've known each other since elementary school and he chooses ashley over me again.
I whipped out my phone and starting to text Britt(short for Britney and she's my best friend) to see if she could drive me to school. I've already walked to school two times in the past week and I'm not walking a third time.
Me: Hey can you give me a ride to school
Britt: sure :) but can I ask y?
Me: becuz of Ashley
Britt: ohhhhh ill talk to u more about it in the car i'll be there in 5
Me: Ok
She pulled up in front of the sidewalk and I hopped into her car.
"Hey thanks for giving me a ride."
"No problem, anyways you should really talk to Brandon." Britt said while keeping her eyes on the road.
"Talk to him about what?" I asked curiously. She stopped at a red light, turned to look me and said,
"That you have feelings for him."
"I NEVER said that!" I said while slowly starting to blush.
"Bella I've been your friend since middle school, I know when you like someone."
"But I don't like Brandon. Me and him have been friends forever why would you think I would start liking him now?"
"Well you seemed pretty upset when he didn't give you a ride."
"That was only because he didn't give me a ride three times in the past week and I didn't want to walk to school."
"Ok, sure." she said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes but then I thought about it. Could it really be true. Could I really like him.
I got out my phone and texted Brandon,
Me: we need to talk.
