George was an intelligent man. He was quick-witted, brilliant with numbers, and words, and he was also good at explaining things, as he had a quick sight, and he could always see right to the heart of any problem, that arose.

His own problem, of being himself though, was never solved by George.

He saw the pavers out in front of him, labelled for him to step onto, next.

These were, love, truth, and wisdom, and then even further up was one labelled peace.

The first three steps always led to the fourth step.

George knew this innately, but outwardly, he just could not be budged from where he was right now.

This was because George standing on a paver called fear, however, and he never had the strength of conviction/trust/belief in himself to ever be able to step off this secure step, which he felt at home on, but which never the less, he just knew was not moving him forwards to himself while he stayed on it, day, after day, after day.

And so George died that way too, still nowhere near where he could have been in his owning, and being of his real self, or was he?

Was this a problem, or not, though?

Was George's life still a useful one for him to have lived?

Let's listen in to what the angel, Gertrude, said to him, in a room not far away from the pearly gates, where she interviewed George, not long after his death, down here, on the sweet Earth.

"George. You were a good person. You were honest, never lying to others. You were truthful, and you always endeavoured to never hurt others, nor even did you ever intend to hurt anyone, even in your thoughts."

"You were a gentle soul, clean living, and respectful in all ways."

"Who told you then that you were not living as your real self?"

"You were indeed doing so, George, even if you didn't think so, yourself."

"Go into Heaven, my good son, you deserve your place here, you must know."
