The Enigma of Vida

PROLOGUE

In one rebellious night. There was a woman who unexpectedly got a chance to live in The House of Representatives.

The House of representatives consists of 8 powerful people.

In order to be one. You must have the intelligence, bravery, creativity and most of all.. Money.

"May we call on the Boss of The House of Representatives. Mr. Alastair De medici."

Everyone gave their thunderous applause and cheers of acclamation as he walk with almighty on stage.

"Good evening ladies and gentleman. As we gathered here today, i'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for coming in. As the boss of THR i was the one who compelled to choose the new member who will become one of us." He stood there with grace and exquisite not minding the stares of thousands of people.

Someone gave him a red button. And the commentator explain the mechanics and details. There will be an onscreen shuffle with the names of candidates in it. Once it shuffle the power is on the boss. He will hit the button and if the red button stops from your name. Then you're in.

"Let's not waste our precious time. We're gonna shuffle it now in 3 2 1..."

And the commentator hit it.

Different names slides on the screen. As the people awaits who's name's gonna flash on the screen. Everyone's praying because of the privilege they'll get if they became the chosen one.

Little did they know.. It is more than that privilege..

In the middle of the ocean the spotlight stopped.

It stopped on the Woman who's wearing crimson red velvet long sleeve with a deep V line dress.

She got confused. Not knowing what the heck she would do. But she remained calm, neat and fierce.

She look at the screen and read the name of the winner soundlessly..

"VIDA."

"The lucky new member's name is Vida. Mr. Alastair can you accompany Ms. Vida here on stage."

Before i could react. He's now infront of me offering his hands, Looking at my eyes intently. Many people are staring at so i immediately hold his hands.

I smiled at the people who's now staring at me. Admiringly, enviously and respectfully.

The man beside me let go of my hand. But then when i thought that he already let go of me. He encircled his hands to my waist and pulled me closer.

What's up with the boss? Is this how they treat their member? Okay then.

I pushed myself to him to the point that he's feelin my boobs now. I felt him stiffed and i chuckled silently. I look at him only to see his forehead crease.

"What a beautiful woman we have here.. Congratulations Ms. Vida. I officially announce tonight that you are now the new freshly member of The House of Representatives. For the rules, regulations and all. Let the boss demo it to you."

I look at him with a playful smile.
"Where are we doing this demo boss?"

"In my room." He said in a serious tone. With his dark mesmerizing eyes lock into mine.

"For the people who stayed with us, enjoy the after party. Again, Good evening ladies and gentleman. It's your night. Enjoy."

The Dj played a loud music and everyone screams of joy and wildness.

But i couldn't hear anything. At some reason i temporarily became deaf. Looking into his dark almond eyes.

His touch became more intensed and his side of lips rose a bit. Leaving me mistify enchant.
