"Oikawa, stop it right now!"
The boy looked at you, the most innocent grin plastered on his beautiful face as he paused, midstep. You snatched the spoon that he had been chasing his nephew with from his hand and tapped him on the nose with it.
Takeru was giggling, hiding behind your legs. "Uncle Tooru is so mean! I'm so glad you came to protect me from him!"
Oikawa pouted. "That's not very nice!"
Takeru climbed onto Oikawa's shoulders. "I want [y/n] to come here every week! She's so pretty and nice."
"I wouldn't say nice..."
You ruffled Oikawa's hair roughly. "Take that back right now, Shittykawa."
"Language!" Oikawa wailed, clutching at his nephew's ears. "You can't say that!"
You stuck your tongue out. "I'm a better influence on him than you are."
"Not true."
"You chased him with a spoon, Tooru!"
"It was fun!"
You sighed, trying very hard to conceal your laughter. Ever since you had arrived at Oikawa's house after cheer practice, you had been laughing pretty much nonstop. Takeru was a delight, and you couldn't help but adore the kid that resembled your Oikawa so well.
Takeru dropped to the ground. "Uncle Tooru, I'm bored!"
"What do you expect me to do about it?" Oikawa retorted.
"Let's go do something!"
"Such as?"
"Volleyball!" Takeru shouted, bouncing up and down. He grabbed Oikawa's hand in his own tiny one and started tugging him towards the door. "Come on, [y/n]!"
You followed after them hurriedly. Once the three of you were outside, Oikawa lifted Takeru onto his shoulders and reached for your hand.
"Look at us," Oikawa giggled. "This is our future!"
"Yeah, right," you snorted. "I think you're too caught up in volleyball to ever have a kid."
He faked a gasp. "I love children and children love me!"
"Have you ever changed a diaper?"
Oikawa shook his head.
"We'll see how long you last with a baby, then."
"Can't I just... practice my serves with it?" he joked.
You flicked his nose. "You're so stupid, Loserkawa."
"Yeah!" Takeru chimed in, smacking Oikawa's head and tugging at his hair. "You're a stupid meanie head!"
Oikawa let out a shout, trying to shake Takeru from his shoulders. The boy just laughed and clung to his uncle tighter.
"Stupid meanie head," you laughed, shouldering Oikawa. "Takeru is quite smart."
Oikawa let out a sigh. "You and him are just bullying me."
"If only Iwaizumi were here," you said. "We could probably make you cry."
"Actually, Uncle Tooru was just crying last Monday because he said you ignored him."
"Awww, Oikawa, that's so cute," you cooed, squishing his cheek.
His face turned red and he swatted your hand away.
"Is someone embarrassed?" you laughed.
He didn't say anything.
"Oikawa?"
