Chapter 23

I sat as far as I could from Reesha on Bianca's bed. I don't know why she's here, but it definitely isn't for a good reason.

" Reesha is here to apologize Saph "

Apologize? Last time she came to my house to apologize, she told me to stay away from Andrew. I looked at Reesha, and the look on her face told me she isn't here to apologize.

" yes Saph, I've been very mean to you, and I just wanted to say sorry " she said, holding a fake smile on her face.

" your sorry? ", I asked, looking at her in disbelief, Reesha can never be sorry, she's a witch, a wicked one in fact." Reesha I can't believe that "

" look Saph, I know I'm a really bad person, but pleas forgive me, I was just jealous "

I laughed at her. Jealous? What could she possibly be jealous of.

" Bianca, don't tell me you believe this girl " I said looking at her in disbelief. She couldn't possibly be sorry for someone like Reesha, she's a devil.

" come on Saph, just gibe Reesha a chance " Bianca begged , smiling at me in a pleading manner.

I can't believe I'm going to do this.

" fine " I grumbled, sighing in defeat.

" yay " Bianca said jumping for joy. Reesha stretched her arms, expecting me to hug her.

I didn't.

But she still leaned in and hugged me, the hug felt comforting and I was, starting to believe her until...

" Sapphire, hope you don't believe all this, the only reason I'm doing this is to win the trust of your dear friend, Bianca " I pulled back from the hug immediately, did she just say what I think she said she.

" you are a fucking liar " I said standing up from the bed while looking at Reesha.

" come on Saph "  Bianca whined.

" no, I'm not... coming on " I said turning my head to face Bianca. I can't believe she trusts this girl.

" Saph ? " Bianca warned.

" fine " I shouted, storming out of the room, I can't take this any longer.

I walked to her stairs and stopped once I reached. This girls stairs are mighty long, why isn't there an elevator or something.

The sound of a door closing from behind me caused me to begin my journey down the stairs, I only went down three steps when I heard a patter of footsteps, behind me, like someone was running, I tried turning to see who it was, but I was too late.

...

The person kicked the back of my right knee with a great force, causing me to to fall on my right knee on the sharp edge of the stairs, at the bottom of the stairs stood Bianca's mother, with hands covering her mouth and eyes wide open watching me fall brutally down the stairs.

I tumbled down the long stairs, trying to stop myself from rolling down the stairs, in the process of doing that, I caught a glimpse of Reesha smirking down at me from the top of the stairs, before hitting my head hard on the banister of the stairs.
