Chapter 1- My secret

Luciana:

"Hey, LuLu...." it's my friend Nevaeh. She created this cute nickname which it absolutely not cute according to me.

"Hey Nev". I said as we meet at school gate. We kept blabbering about what we did in the vacation. The first period was Science. It was quite interesting as usual. Hey, don't judge. I like studying and science is my favourite subject of all. I took my notes sincerely.

As I saw Nev beside me. She was quite asleep all the time. Wow, she does have a blessing of sleeping wherever she wants to.

She slept through Maths and Literature class as well while I was busy taking notes.

It was time for the break. After we completed eating we went to rest in the garden. We found a perfect bench to sit.

"Lulu do you know 'Cutest boy in school' is already decided." She said looking at her notebook.

"It's Dylan Anderson. He even bet our class president Luke Jones. He is an eleventh grader from class 5, 183 cm tall, super smart and apparently insanely hot~" she blabbered.

"So this is what you use your notebook for ," I questioned her looking at her notebook.

"Well studying is important and all, but that's not all there to the springtime of our youths! Besides everyone has some guy whom they like. Don't you?" She questioned with her eyes wide as if she wanted me to say yes.

"Um...not really...I don't want to waste time on stuff like this..." I said scratching my neck behind my hair.

She gave a suspicion glare with her eyes at me saying, "Ohoo..."

She looked around for a while. "Isn't that Luke playing badminton. I am going and cheering for him. Are you coming" she jumped up in happiness and left when I wanted to say her something.

"Luke...Nev, I do have someone I like. It's him, the class president. If I could just tell him the words 'I like you' someday, that'd be enough.." I whispered in low voice to myself as she left.

I was about to get up and leave I hear some noise from the bushes behind me.

"Ugh.. you are so noisy," said I guy in messy uniform. I jumped up as if I saw a ghost. Damn, where did he appear from?

"Eh...W-w-ho are you", I said staggering.

"If you like him why don't you just go to him and tell him. Don't sit around muttering to yourself and disturbing others' sleep" he said with a smirk on his face. Damn, I am busted. He heard everything. What should I say now?

" I...I'm warning you, you better not tell anyone! Or else...," I stopped not understanding what to speak.

He jumped forward, came closer bending toward me "Yeah? Or else what?"

He is a creep. I should just say something and go from here."Or else...Or else, I will never forgive you!"

"Haha, you really think I care about this kind of girly nonsense?" He said with the same smirk as before.

My biggest secret, one I have kept hidden for the last three years, was discovered by THIS kind of person. He doesn't even wear a proper uniform. He must be problematic. He wouldn't say anything...would he..?

"Lulu, I am back." I heard Nev behind me."Eh..who are you?" She asked looking at that weirdo."Wait aren't you Dylan Anderson. Do you both know each other?" She asked looking at me.

"Hey, later," he said turning back waving his hand.

I was so frustrated. Thank god he left. I wanted to strangle him to death. Why the hell is Nev so happy looking at him. He is totally a jerk. How is he 'Cutest guy in the school'. He should be named 'Biggest asshole in the school'.

"Wow if I had to choose between these two,I would choose Dylan for sure. Of course I prefer a bad guy like him rather than a nice guy like Luke~", Nev said with a bright smile and puppy ears.

Seriously where is the taste of people these days." What's so attractive about a guy like that...?" I asked with a snappy expression.He is an asshole. He blackmails people with their secrets. Technically he didn't blackmail me ,but still he is a complete jerk who doesn't deserve attention of a super honest, super cool, super strong girl like Nev.

I turned back to look at Luke. He has a warm smile over his face while greeting everyone which is quite soothing. Will I ever be able to talk that easily with him as everyone else does.

We went back to the class as next period was about to start. Half of the class was sleepy after eating. The teacher requested everyone to sit straight. As I was taking notes I got hit by a paper ball. As I saw around I saw Nev saying 'Just for you' in sign language. I opened it. It says:

' let's go grab some smoothies from the new place today. They are having a big special today.'

I turned the paper over and wrote:

'Sorry, I have after school art classes today. Lets go some other time.'

I crumbled it and threw it back to her. She saw it and gave me back a glare as if I was an alien from some other planet.

After school, I went to my art classes. I sat at the corner of the class . As I drew my face beside his. I felt some happiness. Even though mom just wants me to study medicine, I really just wanna draw. Also, in my first art class was where I met him for the first time...
