Secret - Hayaryuu

The students were still mumbling about the incident of Ryuuichi chasing Inomata from the advanced class after the school bell rang and classes where starting again.

Ryuuichi tried his best to concentrate on what the teacher said, but he couldn't stop his mind from wandering off. He couldn't stop thinking about what happened during lunch time - after Inomata left.

After Ryuuichi came back to the classroom, he took Kotarou in his arms. A shiver ran down his spine when he looked up at Kamitani. From the outside he looked as expressionless as always, but the tint of unusual sharpness in his eyes was enough for Ryuuichi to know that something was wrong. Did he do anything to make him angry? He tried to evade the gaze of the other and his eyes landed on the clock. „Ah, I think we should bring Kirin-chan and Kotarou back to the daycare room.", he said and when he looked back at Kamitani, he swore he saw him sigh a little before leaving the classroom. The brunette was still confused, but a tug on his shirt pulled him back into reality. He looked down at Kotarou and saw a worried look in his brother's eyes. Ryuuichi forced out a smile to reassure the toddler that he was fine and followed Kamitani with a little delay. He jogged a little to catch up to the taller and walked beside him. It was always a bit hard to match Kamitani's walk pace. His legs were longer and his walk pace was naturally faster. It made it hard for Ryuuichi to keep up with him, but he didn't mind. Walking beside Kamitani was always kind of soothing and comfortable, despite the silence most of the time.

The walk to the daycare room didn't seem much different from usual, but Ryuuichi sensed some kind of tension between them. The usual silence seemed to be filled with pressure. It made the brunette worry. He didn't notice that he was frowning until Kotarou put his hand between his eyebrows. „Nii-cha", is all he said but his face showed that he wanted to cheer his older brother up. Ryuuichi couldn't help but smile at the cute gesture. He gathered his confidence and turned his head to face the raven. „Kamitani", the brunette said and got his attention. „Um, are you.. angry? Or something?", he looked down, confidence leaving him once the the sharp green eyes fell on him. He heard the other sigh. This time a clear sigh, before he felt something on his head. Ryuuichi looked up again and saw that the sharpness in Kamitani's eyes softened a bit. The big hand stroking his head was warm and all of his worries suddenly flew out of the window. „I'm not angry. Sorry for scaring you." the other said and gave him a peck on his forehead. It made Ryuuichi blush. A hue of red tinting his cheeks. His stomach was doing a somersault and he couldn't hold back the smile threatening to show on his face. „It's okay. I'm glad" he replied, closing in for a kiss on the lips...

„Hayato-niichama likes Ryuu-niichama!"

And the two boys froze.
Suddenly realising that despite the hall being empty, they still had audience. The toddles in their arms had been watching the whole ordeal. Ryuuichi was still in shook state when Kamitani took his hand away from his head and said: „Yeah, got a problem with it?" Intertwining their hands instead.

Ryuuichi's face heated up even more. So much that he begann to feel dizzy. But he was happy  (and maybe slightly worried) that his boyfriend was so open about his feelings towards him. Before Kirin could say anything else, they reached the daycare room. Kamitani opened the door and put the girl down and gave a slight glare, signalising that she should keep quiet about what just happened, before he turned around and left. Ryuuichi expected her to be scared and on the verge of tears but instead the toddler was grinning from ear to ear, eyes sparkling. „Secret with Hayato-niichama!", she  squealed and jumped in the air. Again a tug on his shirt pulled his attention back to the other toddler in his arms. „Nii-cha, secret!", Kotarou said with big and expectant eyes. Before putting him down, Ryuuichi said:

„Yes Kotarou, will you help me keep this secret, too?"

The other answered with an energetic ‚Ung' and nodded with his head. With a big smile on his face did Ryuuichi leave the daycare room.

(A/N: Ofc Taka got jealous about Kirin sharing a secret with his brother and started wailing. Resulting in Usaida receiving bruises and the loss of a few strands of hair)
