Chapter One - Fates Mistake

Screams and howls rippled through the open air as hands fly out the car and felt the refreshing winds brushing past their fingers. “Faster!” I yelled out from the back seat towards the boys in front, half of my body was on top of the open convertible, my arms spread wide out and head thrown back enjoying the adrenaline rush through me.

Glancing to my right was another convertible racing side by side with us, I met eyes with one of the boys and he smirked turning away from me ‘Our Trini is such a wild little wolf’ the sudden boys voice came into my head speaking to no one in particular, the boy was also known as Daniel Horandale my twin brother.

That boy was only 7 minute older than me and he makes me think I’m so much younger then him. The forest we drove past was filled with amusement laughs from my older triplets also known as the triple J’s, Jace Horandale; The oldest triplet and the oldest out of all of us siblings, so he was our packs Alpha since dad step down recently, Joshua Horandale the second triplet also known as the Beta; second in command right after the Alpha and there’s the last triplet; Jayden Horandale the one driving in the other convertible with Daniel.

After all the hard partying we did on the car out in the open just now, my energy ran out and I slipped back into my seat quietly and that was about time we all just arrived to the new town we were going to stay at from now on since our last one got attack by some wild rogues.

My old town was only taken care of by my family the Horandales and that was one of the reason why it was one of the easier targets to attack too, most territories these days have at least 2-3 packs protecting it because of the wild rogues going in packs to take over everything, those rogues don’t care what is right and wrong they just kill whatever gets in their way.

‘I heard dad saying this town already have two packs running it’ I broke out of my own train of thoughts as Joshua butted in, my thoughts must have come to them too since I didn’t block it, but why would I, we never blocked anything from each other, our thoughts are always open to each other; I wasn’t sure about their private ones but I’m sure mine just runs wild inside their heads, like that one time I had my first period ever!

My mum past away when I was still young so no one had talked to me about why girls get there period or anything along that line so when it first came out, I was scared to death that I had some kind of sickness and I was going to die…. And that was when my three older brothers had to sit me down and explain to me about the whole period thing which is quite horrible let me tell you that.

As their conversation continued on and on; I looked around the town as we drove by slowly, everyone’s attention seems to be on us.. ‘The new pack in town what else would we expect’ I nodded along, agreeing with Jace

‘Or maybe it’s because I’m just too hot for them to handle’ Jayden turned his head slightly and did a little wave and wink at the girls on the street and they all squealed overly happy. I wanted to puke at his confidence and roll my eyes at those girls,

Those type of reactions are the one that feeds his ego so high it disappear right through the clouds. I actually got told a lot by my female ‘Friends’ how ‘Hot’ ‘Sexy’ ‘Cute’ ‘Attractive’ and ‘Gorgeous’ my brothers are, which I do not want to hear.

Even though the 3 older brothers are triplets but they are fraternal triplets, same as me and Daniel. We all look different from each other unless you’re talking about our brown hair and blue eyes, other than that we all have different features.

The whole female population would be my friend because they think that it’s an easy route to get to my brothers, which was true and I learned my lesson from the past to never have the same mistake ever again.

Jace and Jayden pulled into the parking space next to my dad’s car, my dad got here 4 days ago just to get everything settled in for us before we all moved in.

I jumped out of the care before Joshua could pulled his seat up and let me out the proper way, he glared at me playfully before shutting his door, I smile cheekily at him before making my way to the boot to get my bags.

Jace rolled his eyes and shook his head “Trinity! Act like a lady!” I poked my head out from behind the boot and step out doing a little spin showing off the summer dress I was wearing giving him a ‘Duh’ look. Jayden chuckled and let out a huge sign on the other side of the car, Daniel knocked me on the back of my head “Act like a lady he said… Even if you’re wearing a dress it doesn’t make it any more lady like cause you jump out the car with it on”

Before they could say anything more about my.. lady-ness..? Dad stepped out and save me from it, giving me a knowing smile. After making our self-comfortable after dinner, he told us all our bedrooms were upstairs and his one was the only one down stairs.

It was pretty basic Kitchen, dining room, lounge, dads room, study room, 1 toilet and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs were 5 bedrooms, standing at the stair way to the right was a hallway with three doors, Jace, Trinity and Joshua was written on each door and to the left was another two doors exactly like the others but Jayden and Daniel were on the doors instead.

Walking straight from the stairway was the 2 toilet and bathrooms and a double doors that was written ‘Game room’ my thoughts came to the others while I stood still in front of that certain door ‘Is this really a game room or…’ my mind questioned to myself. “Open it and see for yourself” Jayden mumbled right next to my ear and gave me a little push.

My hands landed on the two handles, turning it and pushing it open. My jaws dropped in disbelief, spinning in circles looking at everything in the room. We have always wanted a game room since long ago but none of my parents let us… ‘How…’ “How? Well I’m the alpha now so everyone listens to me, if I decide to build a game room for my siblings then no one can stop me” Jace leaned against the door frame and looked around the room; proud.

He looked back at me and smile “Like it? Trin?” A wide smile spread across my face and I ran full speed at him, wrapping my arms and legs around him tightly and squeezed him in a tight hug “Love it! Love it! Love IT! THANK YOU BRO” His chest rumbled with laughter before “GROUP HUG!” Was being yelled out, three pairs of arms were wrapped around us and squeezing the life out of me, yelling and shouting telling each other to let go before the other one dies all ended up in laughter. ‘

Kids… time to go to bed, you all have school tomorrow’ our father grumbled from his room.

We all laughed and blamed each other for being too loud before going our separate way to our rooms. Still feeling unsatisfied because I didn’t get to try out anything in the game room yet ‘After school tomorrow we are going straight to the gaming room!’ I smiled happily as they all answered yes and of course to me, before at the corner of my eye I caught something moving outside my window, I ran over to it and lifted my window up poking my head out looking everywhere to see if I can catch the movement again, my window was looking straight out to the forest and I swear I saw that little movement, I took a sniff at the air and it hit me right away the smell of mist from a waterfall.

It was a very natural and refreshing smell but there was absolutely no waterfall anywhere near here that I can smell that far. Pushing it to the back of my head, it was probably just me seeing things.

Settling myself in my new comfy bed I closed my eyes for the night ‘Goodnight’ I mumbled sleepily.

I waited and waited for him… ‘Night….’

‘Goodnight….’ ‘Jay….’ ‘GOODNIGHT!’

‘JAYDEN’ ‘Answer her before we all don’t get to sleep..’ ‘You know she doesn’t stop until you say it!’

‘Goodni-’ Trinity

‘Girl, go sleep’ Jayden deep sleeping voice grumbled.

I smiled in content and let myself drift off to dreamland.
