보라빛밤 ; Purple Night

I skipped out of joy still trying to keep my balance. I hummed along the dark streets, it was pretty chilly actually, where is everyone? Every building had their lights turned off,
I couldn't see well but the lampposts are indeed helpful though they were a bit dim.

I hugged myself tight in response to the wind that brushed my whole body. It was freezing, so stupid of me for not bringing a jacket. While I rubbed the side of my arms I suddenly realized,,,

I forgot to bring snacks.

"Goddamnit!" I groaned while slapping my two cheeks repeatedly. I couldn't stop combing my hair in stress. How could I forgot snacks?? I promised him I would bring them and all the stores are closed!
I continued to walk and somehow God heard my prayers; a glimpse of light shone from afar caught my attention
—Convenience store! I can get snacks there!
I shook my purse upside down aggressively. A few candy wrappers fell out but no money! I have nothing!
How should I buy snacks now?? I can't leave my boy hungry...

I tapped my right foot repeatedly with my arm crossed, "What do I do now?". Suddenly an idea popped inside my head. I looked to see if there was anyone around incase if they have the superpower to read minds and could read my idea. I'm alone, great! I grasp the strap of my purse tight. Don't worry babe! I'm here to save you!

I tip-toed my way near the entrance and peeked through the glass door as I examined the place quietly;

Drinks? Check!
Snacks? Everywhere!
Shelf? FULL!
Counter? No cashier!
People? Nowhere to be seen!

Coast is clear.
I went inside trying my best not to make any sound. I went to the drink section and held the door of the fridge as I struggled to pull it. These magnets sure have a strong force! But my force of love for my boy is stronger! I yanked the handle and manage to have it open, I almost fell but, yeay!

In a flash I took three bottles of soju from the fridge and put them inside my purse, apparently they all fit! I Accidentally slipped my hand a bit causing the bottles to clank. "Shhh!! Help your girl out! Don't make any noise!", I glanced around once again just to be cautious.

I look over the shelves of chips. My mouth was already watering but there were too much to choose from! I percuss the tip of my chin gathering my thoughts on which snacks I should choose.
"Ah fuck it!", I cluthed behind the rows of chips and hugged them tightly. Without wasting any minute I ran outside and head my way to the rooftop; my boy and I's secret place together that he promised our date to be.

My legs were hurting and I was huffing too much while trying my best to breathe well.
But that's okay, all of this will be worth it. My lips curved upwards still sprinting with all my will.
