"Ate, okay ka lang?"
I smiled to my sister.
"Okay lang ako. Wag mo akong intindihin, Lexa... " She frowned at me pero di na ito nagsalita. Tumahimik na lang ito habang tinitignan ako.
Nasa bahay ko kami ngayon. Dito daw siya matutulog kasi may pupuntahan siyang maaga malapit dito sa bahay ko.
Nasa veranda ako ngayon at nakatanaw lang sa labas ng bahay ko.

Di ko lang mapigilan ang sarili ko na alalahanin ang nangyari kanina nang pumunta ako sa office ni Carl.

I smirked and drank my scotch. A tear fell from my eye.
"Ate..." I looked at my sister who is now worried about my sudden cry.
She gave that nod. She is giving me a right and an encouragement to cry everything out.
Doon na ako bumigay.
"Bakit? Bakit s-siya pa?? B-bakit?? " Di ko na mapigilan ang mapahagulhol sa iyak. Naramdaman ko na lang ang pagyakap niya sa akin. Its a good thing that my sister did not say anything. She just remained silent.
"Bakit pa kasi siya ang minahal ko? Bakit ba ang tanga-tanga ko?? Naturingan akong genius sa business industry pero ano ako ngayon? I am nothing more than a pathetic fool!"
"It was never your fault that you fell for him... Whoever he was..." umupo sa tapat ko si Lexa.
"But it was my choice to pursue it or not. And I did pursue it. I did continue seeing and dating him while he have his own fiancee!"
Lexa did not show any sign of shock in her face. Tumango lang ito sa akin.
"Mahal mo siya?"
Tumango ako.
"Sobra.. Pero di na pwede. I-Ikakasal na s-siya..." Napaiyak na naman ako nang maalala ang natuklasan ko kanina. "Biruin mo, nakipagrelasyon ako sa taong ikakasal na at ang malala pa ay muntikan ko ng agawan ang isang inosenteng bata ng ama! So devil of me!" Uminom ulit ako ng alak. I am tipsy dahil sa alak.
"Ang masama pa, I am in charge of their company and I can't help but see him once in a while with his fiancee in tow! How good is that? And sooner or later, makikita ko na lang sila na may karga-karga ng anak. Wow! That's one big happy family while here I am, stucked in here with pathetic look in my face and my heart in total pieces!"
