"Mama i have to hang up now because we have to go out " i said to my mum over the phone
"Where are you going to? Did you ask your husband?" She asked
"Maama!" I exclaimed rolling my eyes
"Yes" I answered calmly
"Alright dear , safe" she said hanging up
"I'm here Yusrah l, sorry for keeping you waiting " i said as i came down stairs ..........
"Wow!" Yusrah sighed looking at my dress
"What's amusing you?" I asked
"Your new mode of dressing , my baby girl looks like a mum" she said giggling
"Hmmm naki na nan zuwa ai ( your's is coming soon too)" i said adjusting my over sized veil
"We have to hurry up because Ashraf mum called maama earlier on that they will be bringing the lefe (wedding boxes) " Yusrah announced
"I thought paapa said everything will be done when i get to my home" i asked
"Inyeeee ! See how you are rubbing it on my face , Your home abii? Well I don't know why they changed their mind" she said
"Amarya I'm so sorry for coming late" said Laila hugging me from behind
"You are always late " i said rolling my eyes
"He's waiting for you outside fa" Laila announced
"Who?" I asked
"Your husband ofcourse " she answered
"Ashfy kuma, what is he doing here? " i asked as i made my way outside the house .........
"Hey wait " Laila said stopping me
"What ?" I asked
"Are you crazy? Do you know how you look like? You look like a mother of two! How can you allow Ashraf to see you like this? I mean he is seeing his wife for the first time fa . You need to look ravishing because couples always remember days like this , The day they meet each other after the nikkah( marriage) has been finalized " she said
"So we have to get you ready " she said dragging me upstairs
"Yusrah please tell him to come in" Laila said
"I think you should wear this" Laila said after opening my wardrobe, pointing towards a skirt and blouse purple lace
25mins later.........
I got dressed in the outfit Laila choose for me and I applied some makeup to my face .
"Where's the necklace?" I asked Yusrah
"Here" she said handing it over to me
"Wow" Yusrah gasped
"Our bride looks beautiful Masha Allah " Laila said
"Thanks guys" i blushed
"Please pass that body humrah over here " i said to Laila using my fingers to indicate towards the mirror side
"Here" she said giving me the perfume
"Thank you" i said as I began to rub it on my neck and hands
"Someone wants to kill Ashraf today oo" Yusrah teased
"Oh please " i said rolling my eyes
"You look too gorgeous dear !" Yusrah complimented again
"Thank you, my veil please " i said
