We made our way to Toby's room. He was awake and reading a children's book to a nurse. I sighed in relief and I knew Genny did the same. "Jonas?" He asked. "Hey. How are you?" I mumbled as I walked over and sat at the end of his bed. "Mom said you weren't coming anymore. That you were busy with school" "I- we made time to come see you" I said as Genny came and sat next to me. He smiled a little bit. "Cool!" Then got out of bed and picked up a large stack of fairytale books. "Read to us!" Toby exclaimed then handed the books to Genny. She laughed to herself then picked up the first book "Cinderella" she announced then opened to the first page.
