it was the day we first met, i still remember the way the sun shined throughout that very day. I was at my happiest, on my way to school ready to learn. Not really since i was always so distracted during class. When i had walked into you in the hallway, some might say it's a bit cliche but i found it cute. We instantly clicked and became friends.

It's crazy to think of how shy you were back then, so quiet and wouldn't be the one to spark up a conversation. I was okay with it though, it was something i loved about you. Hanging out during breaks and after school, gosh just thinking about it makes me wanna go back.

You had the cutest smile on your face when we would go out for ice cream after school, it always drove me crazy. I once squealed and pinched your cheeks "why do you have to be so cute?!" that embarrassed you, i could tell by the light blush on your cheeks.

you would always deny being cute, pushing my hand away when i would ruffle your hair or try pinch your squishy cheeks "stop! I'm not cute, I'm handsome" you would always argue but I'd just laugh, "sure, you're handsome, and cute!" a sigh would escape your lips, knowing there was no way you'd win.

I remember going home to my mum, telling her how i had just made a new friend. She was happy of course, that i had found myself a friend. Even though i was more outgoing than others i did struggle finding friends, some people found me annoying, or say i talk too much, and that's why jungkook I'm happy i found you.

you always found a way to cheer me up, even if that was a shy compliment that was said through cute stutters, or it was you taking me out to walk around the park letting me rant about my day and you just nodding your head along, listening. I wish we still had that kind of friendship, makes me emotional every time i think back to our high school days.

I hope you still think about the times we had occasionally, i hope you appreciate our midnight trips to the beach and our long talks at the park. I hope when you look back at these memories jungkook, they put a smile on your face. I don't regret a single moment i spent with you, and i hope it's the same for you.
