CHAPTER 1

On the night of December, a girl with brown hair, middle-aged, was sitting in her silk comfortable chair. She was shaking. The wind was howling, while the window was open revealing a landscape to die for. She shut the window, and repeatedly told herself to remain calm, but how did she get in such a position. How was she not able to stay calm when her all-time favorite holiday was coming?

-I believe she murdered her, said the detective with no hesitation. She was standing right in front of the crime scene, how is that not suspicious enough?

-She couldn't, it was her step-mother, the attorney responded calmly. Just take a look at the situation, how can such a shy, generous loving girl do such a horrible thing!

- Don't get fooled by the looks Mr. Solano.

-Okay, let's just forget what I said, she didn't commit murder! There isn't even a witness to address the situation.

-You might be right, but I'm not giving up just yet on my conspiracy.

A whole week passed and the girl still didn't get a reach from the attorney.

Her phone rang, she shook and picked up the phone immediately hoping for an answer. It was her attorney!

-Hi Miss Green, I have some information on the case. I might just be able to get you out of the suspect list, but it will be hard since there aren't any witnesses.

- Are you saying that I might be the lead of a murder case?

-I'm afraid so Miss Green.

-Great, just what I needed. Call me the moment you find something that might get me out of the list, she said frustrated putting the phone on the table.

-Well, I can't just stay here and wait for another call, she mumbled to herself.

Let's go back to the night Misses Green step-mother was killed.

Oh, honey, I can't wait to go on our honeymoon!

-Yes, me neither I think I've just forgotten something in my apartment, said her step-mother, Can you wait for me?

-For sure said, Mr. Green confused.

She ran into her apartment looking for her laptop. As she locked the door and went to the elevator she bumped into her step-daughter, Melissa Green.

-Oh, how nice to see you here Melissa. Me and your father were just going to Italy.

-How wonderful, but I don't think you might be just leaving this country, ever.

She laughed nervously

-What do you mean sweety?

-This is exactly what I mean, she revealed the pan she was hiding behind her back and hit her head as hard as she could. Melissa grinned and took her body, dragging it to the nearest tree she found outside. Of course, you might be wondering. Why outside? Her father was outside waiting for her. Well not anymore. Before Melissa intentionally bumped into her step-mother she talked with her father, whilst he was waiting. She told him that she just heard from his business partner that there was an urgent situation at the office. Of course, that wasn't real, how could it be? She was planning to escape with murder after all. He shook his head sadly.

-Well, I guess I will just cancel the honeymoon for a day. He texted his newly married wife, thinking that she was still in the apartment looking for something, while actually, she was dead under a tree. After she killed her step-mother Melissa started the other half of her plan. She called her very trustworthy partner, Miss. Solano. Miss. Solano called the police saying she was living in that apartment and had neighbors partying next door. The police came, and to their surprise, they found Melissa near her dead step-mother crying uncontrollably. Well, that was a big twist, wasn't it? It is just the beginning.
