"Violet come down stairs I have something for you!" I heard my mums voice from downstairs call up to me. I jumped off my bed and unplugged my earbuds from my laptop. "Coming!" I yelled as I bounded down the stairs only dressed in my pj's. As I entered the kitchen I saw both my parents standing there with papers, oh no. "Oh hey you two, what's this?" They glanced at each other and I couldn't decide if it was excitement or worry. "Well, me and your father thought for high school you would go to an all girls boarding school in the states." She handed me a flyer with the words "Langfry Academy" in big fancy letters. Then it hit me, "Wait! The STATES?!?! THIS IS IN THE STATES! !" my mum leaned forward as if to comfort me, "well sweetie it's a great pla-" I cut her of in a frantic banter "No, I can't go all my friends are here! And really the States?? That's across the ocean I'll never see you again!?!? And do I even have cell phone service there?!?! How will I contact my friends? !?!? Mum you can't do-" my mum cut in before i could finish with, "VIOLET! Jesus christ Violet, you will be fine, calm down, yes you will have phone service, and you will make new friends." I still couldn't comprehend this was actually happening. I'm leaving England for America, ugh, not good. I glanced at the flyer to see where in the states only to see 'Texas' scrawled across one side of the paper next to the 'Complementary Horse Lessons' paragraph. This will be super fun......
