White Privilege - “inherent advantages possessed by a white person on the basis of their race in a society characterized by racial inequality and injustice.”

•Is white privilege real? •Is it really racism or is it classism?
I brought this up with a friend of mine and she gave me an interesting analogy.
This is it:
“A black rich woman and a poor white man walking side by side into a shopping complex. Both leave with items, one who paid and one who didn’t. If both of them walk through the scanner by the doors to leave and the alarm goes off, who you think is more likely to be stopped and searched?”
End quote.
And the question remains: Is that a form of white privilege or is that simply racial bias on the end of the security guard who doesn't stop both parties?
If white privilege exists, does this mean that a poor white man lives better than the richest black woman, JUST because he is white?
