Perry steps slowly towards Clark pulling out an enlarged copy of what their front-page newspaper would look like.
"So, I logged into your Dropbox to find copy," Perry holds up the paper, the headline reading 'SPORTS', "There's copy alright," He begins shaking the flimsical paper.
Clark's eyes now closed, his lips thinning to nothing, but a line. He just arrived and he was already getting yelled at by his boss.
"But nothing about football. Nothing about, uh," friends of the Metropolis Library. Just the goddamn Gotham Bat thing I told you not to pursue,"
"The police won't help, the press has to do the right thing," Clark countered.
"You don't get to decide what the right thing is."
"When the Planet was founded, it stood for something, Perry,"
"And so could you if it was 1938, but it's not 1938. WPA ain't hiring no more. Apples don't cost a nickel. Not in here, not out there. You drop this thing! Nobody cares about Clark Kent taking on the Batman." Perry finishes the conversation, walking off.

The curator rounds a statue, he spots the woman he's looking for and interrupts the conversation she's having, "I wonder would you,"
"Oh," Diana lets out.
"There's something I would like to show you," He finishes.
"I'm sorry," she apologizes to the guests she was once talking to.
The curator guides Diana in-between the dozens of smaller exhibits, before reaching the one he desperately wanted to show her.
"Now some scholars insist that it didn't happen," He spoke only above a whisper, "But I believe it's perfectly in action with a legendary king who was also a psychopathic killer," He continues as she drops her untouched glass of champagne off at a waiter, now standing infant of the exhibit,"It's the sword of Alexander! The blade that cut the Gordian knot," He says in astonishment.
Diana's eyes analyzes the sword. The sword illuminates thanks to the lighting in the case, She can see why, under expert examination, the sword could pass as a genuine artifact.
"It's a triumph,"
Diana smiles to the best of her ability, "Yes," She establishes.
"Enjoy," He says leaving her to admire the piece.
She watches as he leaves, From the corner of her she catches sight of Bruce Wayne speaking to a female. Pretending not to notice Bruce Wayne's footsteps, she keeps her eyes trained on the dagger.
"It's a fake," His mumbling voice reaches her ears, "The real one was sold in 98 on the black market. These days it hangs-"
"Over the bed of the sultan of Hajar," She cuts him off, intentionally speaking with a tone that would imply she wanted to end the conversation, "Excuse me," She says politely turning to leave.
She was barely able to take a few steps before she felt his hand take a hold of her arm ever so slightly.
"Excuse me, miss," He mumbles, "But the other night you took something that doesn't belong to you, and I'd like it back. Stealing isn't very polite, you know?"
"Is it stealing if you steal from another thief?"
There was a pause and a prolonged glance towards Diana before he asks, "Who are you?"
"Someone interested in the same man you are,"
"Is that right?" Bruce questions.
"I believe Mr. Luthor has a photo that belongs to me.
"Did you get it?" He asks curiously.
"As it happens, no, I didn't. As it happens, the data you copied is military grade encryption,"
"You know," Bruce says taking a step closer, "I bet in with that dress nine out of ten men would let you get away with anything,"
She smirks at him. "But you're the tenth?"
He shrugs, "Mmm. I guess I am the first, to see through that babe in the woods act. You don't know me, but, I've known a few women like you,"
"Oh I don't know you've ever met a woman quite like me,"
Bruce was taken back.
"You know, it's true what they say about little boys," She tugs his bow tie, Smiling at him, "Born with no natural inclination to share,"
Her mouth, now mere inches from his ear, "I didn't steal your drive, I merely borrowed it, you can find it in the glove compartment of your car,"
"Mister Wayne," She says her goodbye. Diana leaves him with a confused expression.
Sure enough, the drive is where Diana said she put it, 'in the glove compartment,' of his car.
