Months passed, the boys were on tour while Jihyun worked and worked.
She was fed up by the attempts to stall for a court date, for the lawsuit against Yo Kwangsun. His lawyer kept stalling and stalling, she hoped that whatever he was stalling for would at least give him a chance against her.
She had files upon files of evidence and situations against the defendant, she didn't want to seem cocky, but she knew she had this in the bag.
She kept working on other cases but the one with Han Sunhee being her main priority. She was on the phone all day, to argue that it was unnecessary that he needed so many months for a preliminary hearing.
They denied her request making her even angrier.
"Son of a bitch!" She yelled, slamming her phone on the table before hiding her face in her hands.
"Should I come back later?" She heard. She looked up at her door to see Namjoon standing there in a Nike tank top with a grey short sleeve pullover and a pair of black sweatpants.
Jihyun smiled, running over to hug him.
She felt her stress melting away as she felt his arms around her. She smiled, looking at him.
"When did you get back?" She asked, making sure the door was closed.
"Just now, I asked our manager to drop me off here first while the rest of the boys went back to the dorms."
"You should've gone with them, unpack and relax. You guys aren't on tour for a little bit but you still have to prepare for your comeback." She scolded, walking over to her little bar that held alcohol, drinks, candy and snacks.
She made him an iced coffee, grabbing a cup and filling it with ice and pouring coffee in it.
They sat on her couch near the area, catching up.
"I wanted to see you before we got busy again, with rehearsals and producing."
"You're cute, but we're both always busy. We could always just call or text."
"Are you not happy that I came to visit you?" He pouted. Jihyun laughed, walking over to sit beside him and pressed a kiss into his cheek.
"Of course not, darling. I love that you love me so much that you'd rather see me than sleep."
"I just wanted you to sleep beside me." She smiled, kissing his lips. She smiled when she tasted the coffee and sugar.
"I'll get off work in an hour or two, you can come over to my place or I'll go over to yours."
"Can't I stay here? I don't want to call my manager to pick me up again."
"Love, people are going to be suspicious that you're here."
"So? It's not like I'll get in trouble if this leaks."
"I doubt that but what do you mean?"
"I mean, that I got called into Bang PD-nim's office to explain the video of us kissing and all the conversations we had and I told him everything."
"Wait- back up, so he and the staff know about my issues?"
"Just the editors, and don't worry, we got them to sign forms. They can't leak anything."
"I'm more pissed that they know, but I can't blame them. I am the one who didn't think about the cameras. Did he get angry?"
"No, he didn't. Actually, he started to tease me about dating my dongsaeng's older sister." Jihyun giggled, something she didn't do often.
