Chapter 4 (Timeskip)

The Hashira Training is about to begin in a couple of minutes. I was with Nezuko who has been injected with a serum that suppose to turn Demons back to Humans. I was sitting next to Nezuko while she laid on the ground. It seems former Demon Slayers are gathered here as well.
"I heard you tried to kill Tanjiro's sister" Urokodaki said
"Yes... I did" I said
"What are you feeling now?" Urokodaki ask
"Im not sure anymore... I never thought it was possible to turn a Demon back to a Human" I said
"Anything is possible if you try hard enough even if it's impossible. Tanjiro is the example" Urokodaki said
"..." I went silent. My eyes started to tear up.
"Hey, your Zane, right?" A voice said
It was Shinjuro Rengoku.
"Y-Yeah" I said
"I need to have a talk with you. Follow me" Shinjuro said
I followed Shinjuro to the Outside of the Building.
"Kyojuro. My son..." Shinjuro said
"S-Shinjuro. You don't have to--" I said then
"I do. This is what Kyojuro would have wanted. Kyojuro talked about you when he was at home when he first met you" Shinjuro said
"..." I went silent
"He met you on top of the Mountain..." Shinjuro said
"He changed my life. He pulled me out of the Darkness. I wouldn't be here if I didn't met him" I said
"Keeping it inside won't help. Bring it all out. Talk what you want to talk about" Shinjuro said
"The first time I met Kyojuro..." I said

(Flashback)
The first time I met Kyojuro was after my Sister's death. I was on top of the mountain. Crying. Screaming. I was crying out all the feelings I couldn't hold onto anymore. I was in despair, that I could only see my Sister's scarf. I was alone crying on top of the mountain. Screaming my pain out. I thought I had lost everything. Until... I saw a fire in the darkness of my despair.
"Hey!" A voice said
"Hey! Are you a Demon Slayer?!" The voice ask
"No, Im not! Not anymore... I don't want to.." I said
"If that person heard what you just said, do you think that person will be happy? Happier that you gave up your potential?" A voice said
... The longer I talked to the Voice. The flame grew stronger and stronger. Lighting the Darkness away from me. As the Darkness fade away. I began to saw a face.
"Hey! Im Kyojuro Rengoku! Nice to meet you" The man said
"K-Kyujuro..." I said
"That fire in your heart almost burnt out. Im glad that you gained it back without me helping you" Rengoku said
"..."I went silent while looking at Silver's scarf
"This scarf is a part of you now. Let it build up that fire in your heart. Let it make you stronger. You won't be scared anymore" Rengoku said and left but--
"Please! Teach me! Show me how to become a Demon Slayer!" I said
"Your fire is different from any person I met. Your already becoming a Demon Slayer. You just don't notice it yet" Rengoku said
"..." I went silent and put the Scarf to cover my eyes
"HAHAHA! I see that you are determined! We shall meet you at the Demon Slayer Corps's Headquarters!" Rengoku said and disappeared
"We?" I ask

(End Of Flashback)
"Kyojuro is the reason why I became a strong Demon Slayer! Rengoku showed me that!" I said and started crying
"He would be proud of you" Shinjuro said and embraced me.
"Zane! It's about to to start! The Hashira Training is about to start!" Tengen said
"Its time for me to go" I said
"Show those Demon Slayers hell" Shinjuro said
"They'll be walking through hell with the Hashira Training" I said and went off
"There you are" Tengen said
"I just had a little talk" I said
"Now, let's go train some Demon Slayers" Tengen said
In each Hashira Training session. I wasn't a big part of the training. My objectives were to help each Hashira with their training. I was there to give emotional support to the other Demon Slayers but... It seems they don't need emotional support. Some of the Demon Slayers can't handle some of the training. At one of the days, I went to get some food. While, I was ordering Udon. Tanjiro came and greeted me.
"Oh, hey, Tanjiro" I said
"How have you been, Senior Zane?" Tanjiro said
"Im fine but training Demon Slayers isn't a easy job and I told you not to call me Senior. Just call me Zane" I said
"Wouldn't it be disrespectful?" Tanjiro ask
"No, it's fine, Kamado" I said
"I told you to call me Tanjiro!" Tanjiro said
"Ouh, sorry slipped out of my mouth" I said
"I'll be starting my Training tomorrow! I hope you and the Pillars can teach me!" Tanjiro said
"Im sure you'll do good, Tanjiro" I said
Then, tomorrow came. I was helping The Demon Slayers on their stamina with Tengen. Some of them were hopeless.
"Looks who's here, Zane!" Tengen said
"Tanjiro? You finally made it" I said
"Yep! I'll do my best!" Tanjiro said
"Oh my!!" Suma said
"You're finally here!!" Makio said
"Eat as much as you like!" Himatsuru said
In a couple of Ten days. Tanjiro already got permission to go to the next Pillar session. Tanjiro was heading to Muichiro's residence.
Muichiro was teaching quick movement. I was following Tanjiro everytime he gets permission to go to the next Residence. He always ask me how to do the training more efficiently. It seems in five days, Tanjiro impressed Muichiro and got permission to go to the next Residence. It was Mitsuri's residence. Mitsuri will be teaching them flexibility. I help Mitsuri with giving the Demon Slayers beverages if they are thirsty and sometimes she uses me as an example.
