A Visit Without Good Reason

Later that night, after Kana left, the Nura clan had a meeting among the few present council members. Gyuuki, Nurarihyon, and Hitotsume Nyudo ( One eyed yokai ) were gathered inside the living room.

The atmosphere was heavy, as the two council members looked at their Supreme commander as he sipped his tea.

Opening his eyes, Nurarihyon lowered down his tea cup and looked at Gyuuki seriously.

"What is this grave matter that you need to tell me?" He said solemnly

Gyuuki sharpened his eyes and took out a printed photo of a certain abandoned building.

"Hm?"

"Supreme commander, we've received news from the *Bakeneko clan, that a particular engraving has been done on a building where Rikuo-sama and his friends went the night before." Gyuuki handed the picture to Nurarihyon and continued speaking "It seems that he has come back.."

"Hm.." Nurarihyon simply replied

Seeing Nurarihyon lax atmosphere, Hitotsume could help but be frantic about it and said loudly to the supreme commander.

"Supreme commander! What if he comes back and tries to attack the Nura clan!? We can't let him simply roam around!" He yelled urgently

Nurarihyon, however didn't share his views and calmly sipped his tea and looked at the nervous Hitotsume.

"Worried, you shall.." he said "Reiji was always most mature among the twins.. but he always had a dark side to him." he sipped once again. "If he did take revenge against us, it'll only be the ones who cause him to be banished." Nurarihyon said sagely and without worry.

Nurarihyon may have said that but he knew, he, himself was also at fault. He might be the Supreme commander, but he was also a grandfather, there is no excuses for leaving his grandchild alone.

Hitotsume on the other hand, was sweating profusely. He had been on of those who voted Reiji to be kicked out of the Nura clan.

"Supreme commander, we cannot let the Nura clan fall due to a Rogue member! We simply have to get rid of him!"

"Hitotsume!!"

"Ack!"

Hitotsume's demand was immediately silenced by Gyuuki, as it could only be seen as absurd and unreasonable. After all, he was of the few yokais who resented Reiji and his incapability.

Gyuuki glared at Hitotsume, then gradually calmed down as they heard Nurarihyon's cup be put down.

"That's enough, you two. Karasu." Nurarihyon called

"Yes, Supreme commander!" Almost immediately, a small crow appeared right beside the sitting Nurarihyon, bowing with respect.

"Get the Sanba Garasu (Group name of Karasu's children) to fix the building before any humans spot it"

"As you wish! I shall command my stupid children and fix the damage before sunrise." With that said, Karasu stood up from his seat and went outside of the room.

The three merely sat there in peace, little by little discussing the matter at hand. However, the message still riddled in the minds of Gyuuki and Nurarihyon. What did Reiji mean by 'The Nura Clan shall rise again'?

The next day, Reiji sat on a bench near the park. Sunbathing in the sun like he's never been outside before. Enjoying the breeze, he leaned on the back rest and closed his eyes, relaxing his entire body with warmth.

"Hm.. Any second now.." Reiji muttered, yet still kept his head up in the sky.

And at that moment, a sudden strong gust of wind flew by the park.

"Kyyaaa!!"

"What is this!?"

"What going on!?"

"My dress!!"

The ladies that were wearing skirts had their arms down below, flustered with the sudden gust of wind on their bottom half.

The young men that was near them couldn't help but stare at the girls, some of them were even lucky enough to get a peek from the girls undergarments.

After a few seconds, the gust of wind finally settled down and the girls were able to fix their clothes. Seeing that as multiple men were blushing and some had even nosebleeds, they proceeded to slap each of them across their faces, turning their cheeks red with a slap mark deeply imprinted.

Slap!

Smack!

"Classic!" Reiji murmured, opening his eyes just in time to see his fellow men being slapped. Stretching his body for a bit, his eyes lit up with energy, a smile plastered on his face.

"Now that *Zen is here, Rikuo will get distracted from saving him. Then, I might as well cause some ruckus for the Nura clan." He chuckled "After all, It's so cliche!!" He smiled like a child as he stood up from the bench.

After a few minutes of commuting, Reiji finally arrived at Rikou's school.

He stood in front of the gate as he watched the students leave in groups. Some were even staring at him, but brushed it off as they were busy talking with their friends.

Reiji also didn't pay any attention to them, he simply looked up to the building up ahead.

The orange light of sunset was hitting Reiji's face in a perfect angle, a small breeze blew by making Reiji's hair and hood sway with it. He was sharply glaring at the school building, planning his next move. What should he do after this?

Not far from the gate, a boy wearing red tracksuit underneath his uniform was running towards the exit.

Rikuo was in a hurry as it was already getting dark, and he also heard some news about a clan head visiting the mansion, he had to be there for appearance.

Since Rikuo was the only one left to get out of the school grounds, so it was pretty quiet, no one else was left other than a few teachers. As he passed by the gate, he saw a glimpse of a boy with the same color of hair as him wearing a blue hoodie.

Rikuo abruptly stopped and turned to look at the figure, but there was nothing there.

Scratching the back of his head, he fixed his bag once again and ran for home.

A swore there was a person there...

He even noticed him smiling.

*Bakeneko clan - A clan of yokai cats that run a yokai bar and also is the one that gives information to the Nura clan about things going on the city.

*Zen is here - If you don't remember, Zen's carriage was invisble and blew strong winds as he passed by. Also, Zen is the yokai Rikuo is close to, is good with poisin and medicine, but has a weak body.
