Luciana:

Why did I accept his deal? What will that jerk do? Will he spread rumours? Ahh.. my head hurts. What am I accomplishing by doing this? You have lost it, Lucy. You agreed on just dreaming not accomplishing your dream. What will happen to you if the whole school gets to know about your stupid middle school crush? Anyways it's quite late. Let's go to sleep. You have a whole life to worry about your reputation.

"Hey, isn't she deadpan from class 1?"
"Honestly, even a girl like THAT thinks the class president will hers."
Ahh...these voices..as I walk in the corridor, I hear all of them complaining.
"So she is the one that has hots for Luke Jones"
"Yeah, that's the one who never smiles and has a straight face."
"How annoying is that straight-A student."
AHH...I need to run away from here. I don't want to listen to them. It's gloomy. I need to go near the sunshine... it's him. Luke Jones. He is standing near that tree under bright light...He saw me and then turned around. Why did he just ignore him?
"Do you like my gift bookworm? How is it? Luke's noticing you isn't he?"
It's Dylan. He did this. Why?
So Luke knows that I am liking him and he hates me now.
"So she is the one"
"She is the one"
"Hahahaha"
These voices. I don't want to listen to them.No...no...

"NO..."
I shoot into a sitting position, breathing heavily. Sweat drips down the side of my head as my eyes adjust to the darkness. My breathing slows down and I reach up and feel the wetness of my cheek. I was crying. Thank God it was just a dream. OMG... I made a mistake for sure agreeing with a deal.
I sigh as I walk to the door.

I went all the way to the school signing.
"Morning, Lulu." Nev said with a bright expression.
"Morning." I said barely opening my eyes.
What is with those eye bags?", she asked as she was worried about me. She was looking at me like I was a monster.
"I pulled an all-nighter....." I was half asleep while speaking with her.
"Yeah...right..." she spoke as she was clueless seeing me spend all night studying on the first day of the school.

We went and started attending our Literature class. I already completed the lesson and notes yesterday night to get rid of nightmares.
I really shouldn't keep speaking with Dylan. Even though it was just a dream, I still have a sense of fear. But we both know each other deepest, darkest secrets. All it takes is for one to make the first move. So, why does he offer me help?
I kept moaning as Nev kept staring at me the whole time. I went to the art room to get my mood fixed during the break.

"Mam, I fixed that part of my drawing like you asked me to.", I said to my new art instructor. She looks so young and beautiful. I guess she is an intern. She is much better than the art instructor in the previous school.
"Not bad, it's much better now." she told with a broad and warm smile.
"Oh, also I haven't finished the book you lent me yesterday. Could I give it back a bit later?" Wow did I just gave my awkward smile to her? She must be creeped out.
"Of course, take your own time. Really, with a gift like yours, it'd be a shame if you won't pursue arts after school." she said with an expression filled with hope.
".....", I didn't understand what to speak. Since my mom wants me to pursue medicine, I don't think they will allow me to pursue arts.
"Hey teacher, could I also borrow that book.", I heard someone's voice from behind. Damn, it is...Dylan. He's like a ghost or something. My whole body doesn't stop trembling.
"Hello, Lucy " he said with his weird smile.
"Huh? Are you two friends?" the teacher asked looking at me. What is he doing here? I have a bad feeling. I better just get out from here first.
"Have a good day Mam. I will return your book as soon as possible.", I said as I was running away from that place.
I stopped in the corridor. I kept gasping as I ran super fast using all my energy.
"Hey, you.", as I looked up and saw Nev."Heh, what's wrong with you? What's the rush? You look like you have seen a ghost." she was correct though I saw a ghost in human form. Damn you, Dylan.
"Spit it out. Just what's going on with you?" she ordered me with a sharp gaze. She saw through me in literal words.
"An omen...I saw an omen!", I started shouting as I was so stressed out.
"You have been acting quite strange formerly. It's nothing like you. Normal Lucy, happy or angry always looks pleasant. While the correct one is a complete mess. " she said very confidently.
"Oh, really?", I said with a depressed expression. She read me like an open book. I will never be able to enter a drama club. I am a complete mess. All due to that Dylan.
"Anyways, next class is sports. Let's head to the track.", she cheered me up with one smile.

There aren't many people here yet. We were early.
"Wait, we completely left that conversation before. What have you been hiding from me, Lulu?...", she said as she was tickling me."Be honest, don't hide anything from me.", and she continues.

As we turn around we find Luke and Dylan.
