Words change Lives

Midoriya was silent as he breathes out the cold air down in the match ring. His opponent, Todoroki, staring at him silently.

How did they come to this standstill? Well they saw pass the Sports' Festival and saw a glimpse of the other's past. Midoriya and Todoroki saw something that can make anyone still. They really got light from anyone other than themselves.

Midoriya in moment decides no matter what in this fight. He is going to help Todoroki even if he loses, gets hurt or dies from this. "Todoroki, your ice gets weaker with each attack, it slowly gets easier to break with my quirk. Look if you are going to win this, you need to use your full power and give it your all like everyone else here!", Midoriya yells at the last part shocking the crowd and nation that this wasn't his full power.

"But you know why I am not", Todoroki starts before charging up his ice. Midoriya screams as loud as he could to get his point across, "IT WAS NEVER HIS!! IT'S YOURS!! IT'S YOUR QUIRK, TODOROKI!!". Todoroki was silent for second processing this as it all clicks together. Todoroki realizing what Midoriya meant as he literally punched it in his gut.

Todoroki jumps back but in the square. He smiles softly inside as he charges his quirk on both ways. Midoriya smiles softly even when Todoroki's flame set blaze even higher than his ice with his last match. With Midoriya charges One For All into his arm and starts running to Todoroki.

After that massive explosion, and Midoriya was a few steps out the ring with severe burns on his left arm and chunks of ice on right. He breathes in softly with a smile as Midnight yells the victor but Todoroki hears him. "Please remember that it's yours. No one else's. It's yours. Also spread the light to others like you, Shoto.", Midoriya says softly before passing out from the pain.

Todoroki then runs to him ignoring the cheering crowd and bringing attention to the pair. "Midnight, please get Recovery Girl here now. Midoriya needs serious medical attention.", Todoroki asks but deadly worried. I'm sorry, Midoriya. I'm sorry about your past.

With that Recovery Girl cane and rushed Midoriy away with Todoroki having to stay behind for a bit.

Todoroki then sat for what felt like an eternity in a medbay wing. Not caring that his father might come through that door and curse his name. All he wanted right now for Midoriya to be okay and that what just happened really didn't. His quirk, both sides, had severely hurt Midoriya. It felt like he was numb and shot throughout his body. 

He could remember the words Thirteen said back at the U.S.J before they were attacked. 'You hopefully can now see how your quirks can be used to hurt others. And now you can learn how to use them to save people and not hurt innocents.'  Yet also he could hear Midoriya's words minutes ago screaming at him, begging him to listen, pleading him to realize. 'It's Yours!! IT'S YOUR QUIRK, TODOROKI!!'

Todoroki fell more silent as Midoroya's words minutes ago burned in his head like flames. It grew to be apart of him. Todoroki was silent in worry and thought. Thinking away on everything that happened to him at U.A to fully dissect what Midoriya truly meant besides the fact that he already knew that his Quirk and he can't reject it. It's apart of him. He knows now how much damage his quirk can do. Yeah now is the missing piece? Midoriya's voice from before echos again. 'IT WAS NEVER HIS!! ITS YOURS!!' Todoroki feel silent as it hits him fully. He got it.

Todoroki feels tears fall softly down his check as he smiles softly, "Thank you, Midoriya.".

Recovery Girl heads out to see Todoroki. Todoroki asks her swiftly, "Is Midoriya okay?". Recovery Girl brings Todoroki to Midoriya to see him on a bed sleeping softly. His scars from many occasions more showing. "He's fine just resting but what was most disturbing was the amount scars on Midoriya and Todoroki, there are many cuts in his arm.", She says softly with a face of sympathy showing the bandaged arms' scars. Todorok is once again silent as a vow burns within him. A vow to be there for Midoriya.
