Zachary's POV:
I walk home from school, Exhausted as I get a call from Alex, My best friend. "Hello?" I say, Wondering why he's calling me. "Hey Zach..I need to tell you something.." "What is it?" I ask. "Uhm..Well..Everyone at school knows your gay now." "What!? How!?" I ask getting very frustrated. "Hannah somehow found out and told everyone." Alex says to me. "Oh that little...- Urgh! Does Max know..?" "Yeah.." Alex says to me. "Are you serious!?" "Yes..I'm serious.." Alex says, feeling sorry for me. "At least he doesn't know I like hi-" "oh he knows that too.." Alex says interrupting me. "Oh no..this day couldn't get any worse!!" "Just hold on. He said he likes you back, Don't tell him I told you that though." "Oh, He does?" "Yeah." "Well I guess my day just got better!" I smile, Hanging up as I walk home.
When I get home my dog Chico greets me at the door. "Heya Chico!" I say, putting my backpack on the floor and my books on the table. "Finally, It's Friday! Maybe I should ask if Max wants to come over..Should I..?" I ask myself, Putting food in Chico's bowl and giving her some water then I put her on a leash and bring her outside for a walk. "Ahah! It's the gay boy!" Lance, The school bully says to his friends. "Shut up Lance, I'm not in the mood for your crap." "I never asked if you were, Zachary." Lance says to me as I roll my eyes and walk off. "man, poor gay boy is too much of a baby to deal with a real man." "YES I CAN!" I yell to him, Clearly mad. "Awh the poor baby's mad." Lance says. "Whatever" I say, Walking to Max's apartment.
When I reach Max's apartment I knock on the door, Once he answers I blush and smile "Hey Max! I was w-wondering if you want to come over?"
"Oh, Uh sorry I can't..I have somewhere to be.." Max says to me. "Oh..Alright..!" I say, Holding back tears, Knowing the only reason he doesn't want to hang out with me is because I'm gay. I don't think he actually likes me. I mean, Alex said he liked me but I think he was just trying to make me feel better.
