The next morning Meredith woke up and looked down at the floor, where her one night stand layed, snoring away. Meredith gulped and looked at the time. With fast realization, Meredith threw a pillow down at him and stole the blanket off him, reavling his bare bottom half.

He woke up and stood up quickly, and said "What?" Meredith wrapped the blanket around and said "I'm late! And it's my first day! You have to go. I'm going upstairs to take  a shower so goodbye..." as she trailed off, realizing she didn't know his name. There was an awkward pause unitl he said "Derek. Goodbye..."

"Meredith. Well, I guess this is goodbye, Goodbye Derek." She said uncomfortably. Derek nodded and began getting dressed as Meredith ran upstairs. Later at the Hospital, Meredith was in the Intern's locker room when her co-interns walked into the room. She stayed quiet, hoping they weren't the chatty type. A blone women, who looked like a model, walked up to Meredith and said bubbly "HI! My name is Isobel Stevens, but you can call me Izzie!" "O-ok, M-mine's Meredith." Meredith responded unsteadily, while trying to chnage into her scrubs.

Beside her, stood a guy who could be just three inches shorter then Meredith. He smiled and swung his locker door close. "I'm George, George O'Malley." "Nice to meet you George, I'm, well You already know my name." A tall asian girl turned around "I'm Cristina, Nice to meet you guys."

Miranda Bailey walked into the room and said "My name is Dr.Bailey." Izzie smiled and said "It's so nice to finally meet you, Dr.Bailey!"

Miranda glared at Izzie and continued her speech.

"I have rules. Memorize them. Rule #1: Don't bother sucking up, I already hate you and that's not going to change. Rule #2: You have pagers...The nurses will page you and YOU answer those pages on a RUN. Rule #3: If I'm sleeping, Do NOT wake me, unless the patient is actually dying. Rule #4: When I get there, the Dying Patient better not be there when I get there. Rule #5: When I MOVE- You MOVE!"

They all nodded and looked at eachother in awe. They moved fast and weaved in and out of the crowds of people in the busy hospital.

A little while later, Meredith ran up to Bailey. "Dr.Bailey?" "Yes? What is it?" She answered rouhgly. "Um, My patient had a CT and she needs a neuro-consult? Who's the neuro-surgeon here?"

"He is. Right over there, the guy with the "perfect" hair." Meredith looked to where Bailey was pointing and her heart sunk, down to a complete low.

Shit.
