She didn't move, thinking about Slug and Z.

" Gotta take these; I'll feel better. " She said while pulling out a bottle of purified water and headache pills from his bag.

She took the bottle, taking the pills while looking down in shame.

Soon after, she went to the elevator, waiting for her to go down.

After ten minutes of analyzing the world, she noticed the sound of incoming helicopters.

They are quickly going back to base, entering the Headquarters.

On the left side of the stage were soldiers in different uniforms, clearly not Fort Echo.

They wore grey and orange camo uniforms, utility belts, and heavy boots with a viper patch on their shoulders.

A tall, middle-aged man with white hair and a long beard was shaking Wolfgang's hand, with cameras pointing at them.

The man's name in question is Adelina.

Ever since the fall of humanity, not many people had protection, food, or even medicine to combat the growing virus, but he came in clutch.

Many saw him as a figure of hope; his company, however, didn't work for free.

They want something, and that something is technology.

Many people loved him, and even when some of his decisions seemed selfish, he would at least put some priority on the people.

He had done considerable accomplishments to ensure peace, but he was far from achieving his dream.

It was also important to disclose that the pensions he gave Fort Echo allowed for a slight advantage when it came to the battlefield, so everyone's opinion might have been a bit prejudiced.

" You must be Sasha and Goliath. " He said, extending his hand to them.

" Yes, it's good to meet you, Mr. Adeline. " Goliath shook his hand.

" I've heard great things from you two, but I don't have much time for chitchat; goodbye, for now. " He said while walking towards Wolfgang's office.
