36 | Bad Bitch

After Amber told me that Tommy was gravitating more towards me, I didn't know how to feel. Of course I like Tommy but after all this hassle and stress I was really hoping it was all worth it.

Walking out to the garden I joined Molly and Elma by the beanbags.

"How're you feeling today then?" Elma asked as I held my ice cold water bottle to my face as an attempt to cool down.

"Head is scrambled, to be honest. It is what it is though," I said as Molly sighed.

"You're not okay, babe. And that is okay, you just have to accept that you are upset instead of saying you're not and making yourself feel worse," Molly said as I nodded my head, completely agreeing with her.

"You're right. It's just annoying but it'll all be fine soon," I told the two girls who agreed.

"He's coming over," Elma spoke suddenly, keeping her voice quiet.

"Who?"

"Tommy. He's literally coming over right now."

"You'll be fine," Molly quickly said before Tommy plopped himself down onto a beanbag opposite me.

Everyone fell into an awkward silence, Tommy not even looking my way. "Missed your cuddles last night," he started off.

"I didn't even know you came into bed," I told him as he nodded.

"How'd you sleep anyway?"

"Like a baby," I said as I took a sip from my water bottle, not wanting him to know that I was affected.

"Hiya, want to go for a chat?" Maura asked from behind me making me roll my eyes under the sunglasses that shielded my eyes.

"Yeah," Tommy was quick to say before walking off to the firepit with Maura.

Amber caught my eyes as she made her way over to Elma, Molly and I, "Kayla, can I grab you for a second?"

"Yeah. I'll talk to yous later," I told the two girls before walking over to the beanbags on the other side of the pool with Amber.

"How're you feeling about that conversation?" She asked as we both got comfortable.

"I can't believe she tried to stick a kiss on him. Amber, it's really annoyed me," I informed the curly haired girl who hummed.

"What you have to do is be more confident in yourself and stick up for yourself. You've been respectful towards them two and gave them their time, what have they given you? Absolutely nothing. It's time that you just start doing whatever the fuck you want. Don't hold back because you think you're upsetting anyone or you think you're being disrespectful, at the end of the day he was your man first. You've got to fight for him, babe," Amber told me straight up.

Kayla: I literally love Amber. She just tells you how it is and not just want you want to hear. I'm so lucky to have someone like her in here.

Amber: Kayla has to be a bad bitch and not a sad bitch. I love the girl to bits and I will not have her being upset over a boy who claims to have a connection with someone after 20 minutes. Boy bye.
