A week later, the pain meds were truly introduced into her system and Carter hated them. She was constantly falling asleep whenever not being fully entertained. She even cried when she realised she fell asleep during the movie Mori had taken her to on their date, luckily he brushed it off with much understanding and simply took her to a nearby cafe where they just talked and bonded. They just sat by each other so the physical contact would still be there like in a side by side seating of a theater.
But at the moment, she was sleeping on a blanket on the grass while Mori and Honey were at kendo, so the club was debating on who would carry her. Kyoya knew he could, but was enjoying Haruhi calling the twins and Tamaki perverts for wanting to carry her.
“Pleeeeaaase! I’ll be really quiet and gentle! The twins are too scrawny any way and what kind of daddy would I be if I couldn’t carry my own daughter to a much more comfortable sleeping space?” Tamaki whines and everyone just nods, letting him carry her to the club room.
All of it had stemmed because Haruhi and the twins were searching for the girl when their final class ended and found her sprawled out on the grass with a random cat cuddled on her and a fallen book by her head.
“Did Carter fall asleep again?” Honey asks when he and Mori walk in to see Tamaki placing her on the little bed they put next to Honeys for his naps.
“Indeed. But her period should be over soon so she can go off of her meds until next month,” Kyoya says and everyone nods watching with grins as Mori walks up to her sleeping form to wrap her blanket a little tighter and move her hair away from her face.
“Shouldn’t Ella be here by now?” Hikaru asks, looking around for the small child. “The driver said he got here about two minutes ago, but Ella made a few friends in the hall and is bringing her along,”
“When did I get in here?” Carter hums, stretching her arms wide, wincing at her shoulder popping. “Where is your brace?” Kyoya asks, feeling over the shoulder to make sure nothing was suddenly made worse. “Somewhere? It was pissing me off, so I cut it off and got a nice long shower.”
“You cut it off?” Kaoru asks and Mori frowns deeply, moving to her side and pulling the sweatshirt off of her one arm while blocking the provocative view with his tall form. “Is this from the brace?” Mori asks, running his fingers over the irritation rash that was on her shoulder and around her upper waist where the brace had sat against her skin.
“Yup,” She says, giggling when the tall male presses a gentle kiss to her shoulder and helps put the sweater back on, “Let’s not use the arm for another week, though,” The male says and Ethan nods, pecking his cheek and letting him lift her from the bed.
“Sissy!” Ella screams, running in while three other girls sing a theme song from the entry way while holding Haruhi hostage. “Who are your new friends, Ella?” Carter asks, pouting when Mori picks up the kid sister before she can even attempt. “Girl host club!” Ella giggles and Carter shrugs, taking the answer acceptingly.
“And who is this other young maiden?” The leader asks, getting right in front of Carter, gasping when Mori pushes the woman's hand away from his girlfriend's face. “No,” He states, placing himself as a wall between them. “I’m Carter,” She says, peeking from behind Mori with shy eyes.
“So cute!” The Lobelia girls squeal, though the tall one, Benibara, seemed to be a player, holding Haurhi in one arm while the other girls restrained Mori so Beni could grab Carter's arm. “Please let go of me,” Carter whines as she is dragged to the center of the club room.
“Let go of her,” Haruhi grumbles, pulling the elder womans hand off of her best friend. Carter rubs the forming bruise on her arm that comes with anything more than the gentlest of touches. As she backs away and walks towards her boyfriend, black spots start to fill her dizzy vision, “Carebear?” Ella calls, seeing her sister stop in her tracks and grab her forehead. Mori notices as well with the que and hands Ella to one of the twins while rushing forward, “What’s wrong?” Mori asks, wrapping his arms around her waist to ballance her and keep her from falling. “I’m dizzy,” She murmurs, leaning onto his chest and taking a deep breath. “Mori-senpai, bring her here,” Kyoya calls, pulling out a small device from out of nowhere.
“Does this little lovely have a blood sugar issue?” Benibara coos, trying to get through the great twin wall to the girl as she is sat in Mori’s lap, whining as her finger is stabbed. “Yes, extremely low blood sugar issue. Ella?” Kyoya calls and the kids runs up to his feet with a bright smile, “Can you grab your sister one of your juices from the fridge and help Mori-senpai get her to drink it?” Ella nods and runs away, quickly coming back and handing it to Mori so the male can place the straw in it. Kyoya chuckles at the family looking scene and lifts Ella, placing her on Mori’s other knee so she can hold the drink up to her sisters lips.
“I can hold the drink myself,” Carter says and most people in the room just-
“No you can’t”

After about an hour of coddling, Carter was whining, trying to get out of Mori’s lap. “But I want to do something!” She groans dramatically and Mori chuckles, “You’re supposed to be resting for your shoulder and leg,” He states while all of the males in the room, including the one she was sitting on, walked around in their police uniforms.
“I hear the oncoming footsteps of a princess in waiting! Places, men! And daughters,” Tamaki exclaims and Carter is placed on a chair in front of Haruhi. “How come I don’t get costumes? You even put my sister in one,” Carters complaint makes everyone sweatdrop at the twins who had put Ella in a robber costume.
“We’ll work on it,” Kaoru states before the doors open and Tamaki begins his opening line, but Carter ignores him and quickly stands up, making her way to the child that had opened the doors. Once she got about halfway to the girl that couldn’t have been much older than Ella, she freezes at the childs words, much like everyone else in the room.
“It’s a reverse harem!”
Tamaki and the twins immediately try blaming the statement on bad hearing, but her next words make their excuses for the child useless. “There’s debauchery here,” She states and Carter moves to stand next to the child while Ella walks up to her sister. While the newcomer explains who everyone is and cheers, Carter is whining in distress. “Sissy, what’s reberse harum? And debatery?” Ella asks over and over, despite Carters, “Nothing important,”s and “You’ll know when you’re older,”s.
“Haruhi, help!” Carter exclaims, rushing away from her pestering sister until she hears the new child say her name. “Are you seriously trying to tell me that a six year old fish fillet is teaching my sister inappropriate words?”
Carter sees the child tears and groans, “And now he has taken her hostage,” She mutters before adding, along with the twins, “Who the hell is he?” Then there is some dramatic redressing and while everyone else suddenly recognises him, Carter is still in the dark, “Once again, who the hell is he? And who taught this child about inappropriate words and their meanings?”
The host club looks between everyone with an aura and ultimately decides that if there were to be no homicides, Carter should probably be sedated.
