0.6 The Childish Proposal

2017–Autumn

Stupid dare.

You were supposed to join the Halloween party with the gang, but because of the stupid dare you made with Sooyoung and the stupid bang as a punishment, you are unable to go.

You laid down on the bed, suffocate yourself with a pillow. Your roommate came in and sat on the edge of your bed.

"You're really not coming?" She asked, the sharp aroma of her sweet candy perfume filling the room.

You shook your head. "I've told you for more than 10 times, Yerim."

Your best friend—who are now your roommate in University sighed while trying to pull you out of the pillow. She dressed as Hermione, her favourite character from the magical Harry Potter series. She gripped your shoulder and staring hard at you.

"It's not that bad! Sooyoung had worse, and she is still coming to the party!"

"Her bang suits her! I look ridiculous. I definitely don't want Taehyung to see this." You sighed, glancing at your side bangs from the full body mirror near the door.

"Anyway, I'm here to take care of you guys after the party. You can just call me if you need any help!"

"Won't you be lonely?"

"Nope." You said in a firm tone, while pointing your index finger to the pile of textbooks and papers on top of your desk. That's right baby, second year first semester exams are coming up on December, and it's the last date of October already.

Yerim pouted. "What should I say to them, then? Especially him, he would be furious!" Referring your whole squad. Plus some new members, such as Jackson and Park Seojoon, the social butterfly and damn popular sunbaes.

"Just tell them I can't make it because of some stuffs. Oh, say that Jisoo-sunbae want me to help her with her dissertation proposal."

She nodded, but you know that she is still upset. The day when she proposed you to made a bet with Sooyoung to cut their bang if one of you got lower than average score for the quiz last week, which the two of you failed will be the day that she regretted. The two of you were supposed to dress as Hermione and Ginny together, but she ends up dressing alone.

"Okay. Just don't blame me if the two of you fight."

"We won't. Have fun." You gave her a quick smile before she disappeared from the room. Once the door were closed, you sighed, cursing your bangs again and plopped onto the bed.

It's 2017, 2 years had passed since you graduated from high school and since then you started to see each other less often. Luckily, you, Yerim, Jungkook and Sooyoung studied at the same University while the other girls and Taehyung went to Jimin's university, where they met the new members. Since the location of the two university is quite close, the gang will hang out every twice a week. Sadly Hoseok went to the University on a different city.

Not many has changed except you found some new friends, having less quarrel with Yerim and Taehyung, and AGUST D stopped releasing new music. The disappearance of your favourite musician blows quite an impact on you, as you mourned over it for a week.

You sighed and got up from the bed, heading towards your desk and sorted out your lecture notes. You will spend the rest of the worse Halloween night ever with this stupid revision.

A loud bang on your apartment door, waking you up from your nap post studying. It was only 2 AM, 2 and a half hour after Yerim went to the party. Isn't it too fast if she's back already?
