I ran happily to school, I left Rina behind and greeted lots of students passing by. Yeah, every morning is an average morning, nothing special. But school is fun! I love everything about it!
I continued running until I reached the entrance. "Oof!" I bumped into someone, turns out it was Yamiko. "Ugh, what the... you..!" Yamiko grunted. "Watch where you're going!" Yamiko said, it seemed like he didn't know who I was cause he hasn't seen my face yet. "Haru?" He said in surprise, "Shoot.. don't take my words seriously, okay? I thought you were someone else!" Yamiko apologised in fear. "Hmm.. alright. Anyways, morning Yamiko!" I let him go this time. It isn't fun to be angry right in the morning.
I walked to my class. "Good morning, President Haru!" Haru turned around, she was happy to get a greeting from an upperclassman but.. "Good morning, already using first name bases? Please call me by my surname instead." They nodded showing that they understood. The upperclassman was the same person that greeted me everyday.
I continued walking to class. I spotted two of my friends, Ikezawa-san and Fujiwara-san. "Good morning, Ikezawa-san and Fujiwara-san! Even in the morning, you both are together?" I smiled at both of them. "Takahashi, good morning. Where's Mia? Aren't you two always together aswell?" Ikezawa asked me. "I don't know, she's always arriving late. But sometimes, we go to school together." I sighed as I answered. "Anyways, I'll be going now. See you at class!" I ran off and before leaving, I waved at both of them.
"Takahashi-san is energetic as always." Fujiwara smiled at Ikezawa as she said that. "Yeah, it's a relief that she can still smile after what she went through." Ikezawa said as she sighed.
"Good morning!" I opened the class door, grinning ear to ear. "Morning Haru!" Fumiko patted her back. "Ah, you arrived after me!" I said surprised. "Yep, you didn't noticed me?" Fumiko said disappointed. I shook my head. Fumiko just sighed. "Anyways, let's go to our seats. We're blocking the entrance." I said to break the conversation. We both went to their seats. Akira turned around to tell us something uneventful. Most of his stories are boring but oh well, we can't help but listen even if we won't understand.
Akiko also wanted to tell something but she hesitated. I think she doesn't want to because she thinks it's uninteresting. Like I said, today is an average day. This happens everyday and there's nothing different yet. Let's just wait and see when there is something new. Well in the middle of the day, there's always a new event so that means a new story to laugh to.
After a few hours in, it was lunchtime already. Fumiko nudged me on the shoulder, telling me we should head to the cafeteria. "Ah, go on without me." I let out a small laugh. "Oh, alright." Fumiko walked away.
I wanted to take a rest and I didn't have the appetite to eat. I guess I'll just head to the cafeteria later if I get hungry. Plus, I have snacks with me. I should visit the neighbouring classes. I leaped out of my seat and headed to the other first year classes.
I arrived at 1-A in the matter of seconds. "Good day, can I talk with Adachi Erika?" I said calmly to the class. "Oh President Takahashi! Yeah, Adachi-san is right over there. She seems to be lonely all the time." A classmate of her's pointed at her. Yeah she did seem lonely. "Erika-chan!" I called out to her. She immediately flinched when she heard my voice. She looked at my way so I just gave her a big smile.
"So, Erika-chan.. how's it going being in a class where me and Kiko isn't there with you?" I asked her as I sipped my water. "It's so so SO boring! I want to be in the same class as you two! Plus you also have Umi-chan and Fumiko-chan there with you! How lucky.." Erika-chan slumped onto the bench. I patted her by the back, "Well, atleast we get to see each other everyday right?"
"Hmm.. yeah. But it's not all the time! You're in the student council while I'm in the go-home club." Erika-chan whined again. She does this everyday. I'm not tired of it even if it's everyday. I guess I'm already used to it. "Ah right, Erika-chan-"There goes the sound of the bell. Ah, I'll just tell her soon. "It's time to get going, Erika-chan." I got up from the bench and walked away leaving Erika-chan behind. "Ah, Haru! What did you want to tell me?" Erika-chan yelled from behind. "That.. you don't need to worry about it." I gave her one last smile before continuing to walk away.
I arrived at class a bit early, just to find my table missing. "Uh?" I said as I saw my table gone. Fumiko, Akira & Fumiko kept giggling. "Oi, what did you guys do?" I asked as they continued to be suspicious. They kept saying that they don't know what happened. I just sighed and headed to the washroom.
"Ah, so refreshing!" I said to myself after I had washed my hands. I headed to class again but to my surprise, my table was back again. "The heck?" I said that as soon I opened the classroom door and saw my table there again. "Oi, that wasn't funny guys." I scolded them. But it seems like they really didn't do it. I sighed and moved on. Damn, that was weird. I don't think I would want that to happen again. I do love my table.
