"When the weather is hot, keep a cool mind. When the weather is cold, keep a warm heart" – Ajhan Brahm

Simonna Richards clasped her hands on her laps, legs crossed as she silently sat on one of the cream sofas in the chilled room, watching the quarrel unfold from the not-so-happy Kloss couple in front of her. If that wasn't an understatement.

What was to start off as a normal evening with three adults trying to discuss personal issues didn't begin well at all.

At first, the two wouldn't even talk to each other when they both arrived for the counselling session. Even if they did, the words were filled with hate and curt. Now it was far worse! It only took the husband to say, "You act like some insignificant woman," before the fire strike hot, releasing mad fury into the room.

They were both barking at each other. Simone thought about stopping them but she settled with a quick after thought to let them continue. It seemed that was the only way to get them to say out their problems since it was difficult getting anything out of them anyway.

They were both obviously head strong and proud, especially the husband. Since they hardly ever talk to each other, she figured this could be the only way for them to vent out how they really feel.

"You're a liar! Then why did I find those pictures in your study?!" Vivian cried out accusingly, tears streaming down her face.

"How dare you accuse me of lying?!" Eric barked at her, annoyed, angry even. "I told you; those photos were probably put in there to set me up! How could you possibly believe something without any proof?!" He pointed out, clearly irritated by her accusations.

Simone watched them go like this for about ten minutes since they started their meeting in the counselling room.

She met Vivian Kloss some few weeks ago in a pub where she went to visit her friend, Marissa who owned the place.

Vivian was a woman in her early thirties with long brunette hair, brown eyes and a lovely face. The woman was quite beautiful, and as she remembered, Vivian was clearly drunk and wasted while being molested by some punk who she said bought her drinks, his motive obvious.

He took advantage of the poor woman's state, trying to molest her. And if she had not intervened, well, things would have probably turned out pretty bad.

After Simone rescued her from that insane crack head, she drove Vivian to her own place instead. Well, Simone wanted to drop the woman at her place but with the state she was in, she doubted if she could even stand on her own two feet without falling every two seconds. More so that she couldn't utter any comprehensible word or statement.

After Vivian regained herself, Simone tried asking her what was wrong the next day, because with the way she lost control that night, Simone was sure something was off with her. It took a lot of time, days even before she decided to talk about what was eating at her.

Apparently, Vivian had issues with her husband who as she said, had a habit of starting a small fight from trivial matters and wandering off to God knows where, sleeping around with other women and coming back early the next day, giving deaf ears about where he was upon her questioning him several times. Then he'd just leave for work and if she was to threaten him or block his way, he'd slap her across her face or give her a hard push out of his way.

Eric Kloss was a blonde-haired man in his mid-thirties, with blue eyes that were now filled with irritation and rage towards his wife. A very hot-tempered man -Simone thought. And judging from the looks of things, he wasn't a man of patience. It had taken a lot of effort to get him to agree to coming for counselling with his wife. If he had any patience left, then it was probably hanging by a thread right then as they both went on arguing hotly.
