"You asked me if you can trust me right?" Tebogo leaning back on his chair

I nod and walk outside. I have to get back to work and act as if I'm okay.

I'm done with work now, it's knockoff time so I'm already on my way to my room, is days like this one I can barely handle the distance. I need to walk though to avoid taxi drama, plus I have to think about tomorrow and how I can tackle this issue. Xiluva seems to be interested in this just because of K, not because of the promotion she was talking about. I wonder why she is so obsessed with K to a point where she wants to bring him down, except the obvious reasons of course. I really feel resentment towards her, she turned against me in seconds without even having an issue. I had her back all this time and now she wants to destroy me, wow.

I'm home, this is almost laughable but I walk fast when I'm stressed. My friend has a male visitor again, two consecutive days different guys. I know this because yesterday I had to open the gate for her other visitor since she took time to get to the gate, I just happened to be at the gate. Today here she is standing outside a car with a different visitor, she gives me a smile as I pass her.

My phone is ringing on my bedside. I think I passed out after eating last night, I was so exhausted.

"Hello" I answer

"Tshinondiwa I have been calling you the whole night, I found out something about Thabelo that might interest you however I think we should meet and talk about it" Mpho

It's so early in the morning couldn't it wait for me to at least get enough sleep?

"How about later today?" I ask

"Okay no problem, I'll call you" she hangs up

I still feel like the phone call could have waited but it doesn't matter anymore, I'm up and need to get ready for work.

I did everything slowly so that I don't end up so early and see things I'm not supposed to see, Dikeledi is at her desk.

"Nondi come here please" She says

I walk to her, she looks stressed about something. Could it be what am thinking?

"Tebogo didn't get his file yesterday and I left it here, now I can't find it" Dikeledi

Oh it's the file, shit the file!

"I don't know but I couldn't have misplaced it, Tebogo scares me what if he fires me?" Dikeledi

"I have to drop something on my desk now, I will be back asap and help you" I say

"Wait, I want you to talk to him for me" Dikeledi

I don't know where she got the impression that we are best friends but Tebogo is my boss and I'm also scared of him but I nod and get on the elevator.

I am now on my desk trying to text Molly...

This can't be happening especially now, I follow her to Thabang's office. I am now waiting for them to break silence.
